touch my skull while i climb your mountains flowers are beautiful but terrain is treacherous active mind active body kick your ghosts i love karate brown belt not the black of a master i'm always learning that life is a disaster not always natural like the way that you glow and light up the sky when life says no your mind's a country i'd cross barefoot if my words reach behind your eyes that's enough i'm looking for yeses alive and asynchronous not on anyone's timeline outside the hands that measure us.

Lean in, not leanin'.
Tired of who I'm bein', time to get up and grind for every dollar and every dollar sign.
I keep givin' more to get up levels, but it ain't that simple. Maybe ask the devil, I don't know, but I ain't askin' him.
Truth and hard work, I thought would get me in, but I miss a "hi," a "hello," and suddenly the whole world ends.
Man, I would've said hey, but it wasn't that important. I'm in the weeds, smokin' weed, because maybe I was wrong.
Maybe leanin' instead of "lean in" was right all along.
'Cause I've spent years head down, carryin' my end, thinkin' effort was the language everybody understood.
But somewhere along the way it turned into handshakes, small talk, and bein' seen.
And maybe that's on me.
Maybe I've been chasin' dollar signs while lettin' moments pass by, too focused on where I'm goin' to look people in the eye.
I don't know.
I just know I'm tired, and tomorrow's comin' fast, and somehow the lesson always shows up after the moment's passed.
