Kurts heart radiated with excitement hoping maybe the letter mentioned him in someway. He takes the letter trying to contain his excitement, trying to not seem to so eager but fails terribly.
“Wow it sounds like she’s having a ok time so far..” he says trailing off, the letter did not mention him at all. The warm feeling quickly receded as his disappointment sunk in it’s place. He wondered if he would ever be able to contact her or see her again.
Michael could feel the disappointment in his voice. He takes the letter from Kurt slowly, sighing as he takes his glasses off. “Yeah, I know. I miss her too, bud.” Tossing the envelope onto the desk, he stares at his piles upon piles of work.
Every document contained some horrific way to torture supernaturals, experiments enacted by his colleagues all over the world. And him. He looks at Kurt out of the corner of his eye. Michael liked to believe he was a God fearing man, but if he was, then he wouldn’t have done half the things he’d done to this child. The only way to atone for that, he reasoned, was to treat him like a son or as close to that as he could get without Patrick ordering his death. “Have you finished the books she left?”
