That’s cute, James Dashner. That is downright precious. Newt wasn’t gay when you wrote the books, he wasn’t gay when the movies were made, he wasn’t gay for years after that, but now that you have your new book to promote, you pronounce him canonically gay? Oh. Okay.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m happy that so many people finally got what they wanted. But let’s not pretend it happened for any other reason than him needing the clout and to make himself look good again. He knew EXACTLY the reaction he would get from the Newtmas community, he knew it would have people losing their minds over it, and now he is getting just that. Well played, man. Brilliant business move.

Also, all the girls who have been in love with Newt and worshipped him for years can now just go fvck themselves, yeah? Because you wanted the moneys? Cool. Gotcha 👌🏻

I’ve been taking a bit of a break from posting recently, but as I came across these comments on Instagram this morning, I felt really grossed out, angry, and upset, so I wanted to say something.

These comments are absolutely disgusting. Just because you like an actor, you do not have the right to say such awful things about his private life, especially someone in his private life. Saying things about his girlfirend like “she’s gross,” “she’s selfish,” shaming her for the photos she posts and literally theorising that she is cheating on him is so wrong, on so many levels. You don’t own Thomas Brodie-Sangster, and you don’t own the right to say terrible things about his girlfriend and their relationship, just because you think you do. It’s lucky that this is only a small percentage of people, and the majority are supportive towards her and the two of them, but it’s pretty damn awful that Gzi doesn’t allow comments on her own posts because of these people.

I wish this lovely couple the best, and I really hope the negative and downright disgusting comments directed towards Gzi and her and Thomas’ relationship stop soon, because they aren’t exactly kind or respectful.

(Thanks for listening to my rant, I think I had to get it off my chest. I hope you guys got something from it, even though I seriously doubt you are the ones that say these things :)
