"How do you photoshop?". Uhm, I can’t explain. So I made this gif. :D It’s a very simplified break down of my work flow. The actual order is not this, but I can’t remember. This, however is the gist of it. Lots of adding, often removing, and working on the images until they look like I want them to look like.

I think it always comes down to the details, btw. I hope this is helpful to anyone wondering how I do my stuff. As you can see I mostly use stock images. The links of those used in this latest set will be added to my resources page soon. :)

So this picture represents a LOT of things. This is a picture of a moment in “Wicked” I want to see on film. On stage we are left to imagine a LOT of Things since sometimes real scenery can’t be used for the stage without being too tacky. In Defying Gravity you take in a lot of imagery, Glinda and Elphaba are at the top of the clocktower at the Wizards palace and are being chased by guards and have barricaded the door with an old broom. The two then start arguing about how Glinda thinks Elphaba’s dreams of “Defying Gravity” are ‘delusions of grandeur’. The guards are now hammering at the door as Elphaba pulls out a mysterious spell book “What are you doing with that Hideous book” Glinda asks, snarling that Elphaba could be reading at a time like this. Elphaba is too lost in concentration, to notice Anything other than these words that were getting easier to read the second time. Glinda says that it’s what caused all this harm and to “STOP!” screaming at the top of her lungs. She makes a snarly comment about wings and Elphaba not being as powerful as she thought when she notices something moving, the broom is floating towards them, and Elphaba squeals in glee as she realizes the found a way out of the the tower, only to have Glinda looking at her warily. Elphaba say with her and Glinda as a team they'll be 'Unlimited' Glinda even though she dreams of being free, knows that she can't be like Elphaba. Glinda fetches Elphaba a cloak to keep her warm, they wish each other happiness as the wizards guards finally manage to break through the door. Elphaba disappears off screen to presumably open a window, as the guards grab Glinda and are about to capture her until Elphaba reappears and declares 'its me!' The guards release Glinda and are knocked out as Elphaba flies into the sky declaring if anyone cares to find her they just need to look western. Glinda stares in awe as she wishes her friend luck, as the townspeople all declare Elphaba wicked and promise to bring her down. There are so many emotions that happen with this scene I cannot wait to see how they play it out on film.

When I was 14 we had a competition in my school, there were like 28 books to choose from and you had to read like 10 of them over the year, but there was a bonus challenge, if you read 14 books you won a pizza party and a free book. Well Geography Club was one of those books. I was going through a tough time in high school, i was a LOT like Bryan Bunt, people picked on me and teased me, someone kicked open a stall door while i was using the bathroom, and some kids threw a bar of soap at me in the middle of class. I was also questioning my sexuality a lot, I didn't know if I was really gay or bi, but I knew i wasn't straight. When I picked it up I was so intrigued by the title what it was about. When I first read the book, I cried. It became one of my most favorites, and I constantly would check it out. I emailed the author to ask when the movie would come out, he tells me that its in the works but no time soon (this was 2008-9) but he tells me that THERE IS A SEQUEL! Then he says he is writing THE THIRD book in the series. By 2010 I had read all of them by then and was keeping up with movie details, I fell off the radar and life happened. When I saw this on netflix I FREAKED there it was! right there! in front of me. I watched it, and it brought back all the memories from that time and just gave me closure, I really hope they make sequels because this was really well done and I really wanna see this happen.

30 days of Digimon

Day seven: Favorite couple.

T.K. and Kari. Aside from Miss Bianca and Bernard from the rescuers, T.K. and Kari are my OTP, and my first pairing ever. They’re just so sweet together.

He promises to protect her and he does, and feels terrible when he can’t, and the feels. Plus the whole episode with the Dark Ocean. Gah. I love it.

They are such good friends, and they just care about each other so much.
