Give me an intersex Siffrin with a medical condition he doesn't even know he has. He completely lacks the modern vocabulary or medical concepts to name it. To him, his body is just a frustrating, daily puzzle that he has to solve entirely on his own.
Give me an intersex Siffrin whose intense self-hatred stems from internalized ableism too. He blames himself for his physical limitations, completely unaware that his exhaustion, dizziness, & struggles are due to an underlying medical reality rather than a personal failure.
Give me an intersex Siffrin whose medical condition is CAH—specifically the rare 5% form known as 11-beta-hydroxylase deficiency. This specific endocrine reality explains why they're so, so short compared to the rest of the party. LIKE IT COULD BE the reason behind his canon obsession with hyper-salty & mouth-numbing spicy foods. His body is desperately screaming for sodium and mineral regulation. Even his severe cognitive fog & memory issues are a physical symptom of this hormonal imbalance, though he cruelly calls himself "stupid" for it.
Give me an intersex Siffrin who ran on pure adrenaline to survive. After Getting separated From Their country As a kid. & In a brutal fantasy world without hormone replacement therapy, his magical cloak & the toxic surge of high blood pressure & deoxycorticosterone from his 11-beta-hydroxylase deficiency are the only reasons his heart kept beating through the trauma of losing his entire homeland.
Give me an intersex Siffrin whose medical condition makes them have a deeply disordered relationship with food. Between his body's erratic physical demands for massive salt intake & his severe mental dissociation, eating becomes a chore & a source of shame. He either hyper-focuses on bizarre food combinations or ignores his appetite entirely to punish his "weird" body.
Give me an intersex Siffrin who is completely gender neutral even with their body. He didn't develop traditional breasts through puberty; he just has nipples on a flat, neutral chest. It is a physical form that completely shatters the dyadic mold before anyone can even assign a social role to it.
Give me an intersex Siffrin who is an intersex AFAB (Assigned Female at Birth) character experiencing natural prenatal virilization. This specific, visceral perspective of a virilized AFAB body is a reality that is almost entirely invisible & unrepresented in mainstream media & fandom spaces & IT PISSES ME OFF
Give me an intersex Siffrin who doesn't even know why they feel gender dysphoria. He experiences a blind, nameless ache because his body went through an unpredictable, unasked-for hormonal puberty. Yet, he simultaneously feels intense dysphoria
Give me an intersex Siffrin whose self-hatred is a heavy, toxic mix of internalized ableism & blind gender dysphoria. He is constantly trapped in a loop (hah) of fighting his own physical frailty while trying to process a profound disconnect from his own skin.
Give me an intersex Siffrin who is STILL openly intersex in his own way. He is genuinely glad that his body is as gender neutral as possible. He genuinely likes being defying the binary, but he also hates the physical toll it takes on him. It is a confusing, messy, & deeply real paradox that he cannot explain to anyone else.
Give me an intersex Siffrin who knows they are "biologically both" but still remains neither (nonbinary), despite lacking the medical terms to explain it. Technically, because of this 5% CAH variant, they aren't a perfect 50/50 mix—they are a virilized AFAB body. It is a bit funny & ironic when you think about it, but how could he possibly know the clinical nuances?

Give me a Siffrin whose intersex identity doesn't define who they are as a person, but is still a massive, undeniable part of their life that gets in the way of their daily routine far too often. It causes chronic fatigue, severe migraines, & physical crashes right when he wants to be strong for his friends.
Give me the heartbreaking reality that yes, Siffrin has that cloak because it got bitterly cold on the island at night (just like Adrienne said in the Q&A), but also because his parents couldn't afford or find the medication he needed. They crafted that magical, insulating cloak as a desperate, temporary shield to keep their fragile child stable & warm until they could find a cure—a cure that never came.

siffrins like hey doesn't that feel weird?? Isn't your head warm all the time?? And loop skirts around it like haha us stars are just used to it! then siffrin pokes them and it comes away blistered and red and then they have to explain to their party how they somehow burnt their entire pointer finger in a "campfire accident"
ok I kinda lost the plot but chronic pain loop is real to me..... Every time they see siffrin take pain meds (which is not that much bc he can't take care of himself to save his life) they r seething with jealousy.
and they get really pissed when the party finds out about it bc ofc they feel bad for them and then loops like ugh its not important!!! im here to help stardust, if I was writhing in pain I wouldn't be doing a very good job!!!!! you can't even help me anyway!!!! and that makes them angrier which makes it burn even more and they end up storming off to go stick their head in a river (which barely helps because it's wish craft powered and can't be extinguished. And is literally their head)
