hello ! my name is sunny. i am a  23 year old white athiest lesbian who is entirely in love with wanda maximoff. as that sentence stated, I am not romani nor jewish and very much welcome anyone to tell me if I am doing something wrong in my portrayal. the last thing I want to do is portray something wrong/offend anyone. please let me know, seriously. I have done research, but I know that I will never know anyones lived experiences and cannot put myself in Wanda’s shoes. I can simply attempt to write her.

“of course. but i only speak the truth.” she replies. loki indeed was ONE person that she had wanted to meet for a long time. Thor had talked about loki so often that wanda longed to meet such a powerful magician. although she had taught herself magic, perhaps she could pick up a trick or two from the trickster. pressing her lips together after a minute, she nods towards his last statement. 

“I think we should have met a long time ago.”

“novokribirsk?” she raises an eyebrow, but then shrugs. it certainly was an interesting name. but it was not one that she knew. after all, she had just arrived here. and was eagerly looking for a way off. but she wasn’t sure she could replicate the emotions that had flung her to this reality. pressing her lips together, she nods towards the other. “I understand paranoia.” she replies quietly. “I can be plenty paranoid.”

“possibly.” she replies. “would you happen to know of extraterrestrial energy then?” she knew a FEW aliens, but none in the area.

There was definitely something going on in this strange town. Even though it looked like Midgard there was definitely something off about it, something that he couldn’t quite put his finger on. And from what he could tell it seemed to be tied to this girl. One moment it was a strange town, the next it seemed like something that had been abandoned. And he knew that it was magic. That was something he could actually feel in the air. But not one he’d ever felt before. It was strange and if the TVA found out about it Loki was certain they might lay more blame on him. And that wasn’t something he was going to allow to happen. So where was this source of magic? The girl? Was there a new form of magic growing on Midgard that no one knew about? It was definitely dangerous and would attract the wrong sorts of attention. But it was also not his problem. He had his own mission to worry about and while he would satiate his curiosity he wouldn’t do more than that.

“So you’re a witch. You know magic. A dangerous thing on Midgard is it not?”

although wanda had been trying to improve her mental state, and although she had been trying so hard, the recent loss of her children, coupled with years of being on the run from those that wanted you dead, broke her. the creation of this small town, manipulation of its people, was not something she was proud of. and in fact, something that she knew she had to dismantle. it wasn’t fair to those that lived here. and it wasn’t fair to herself. casting the other a cold gaze, the witch gently waves a hand at the edge of the city. one step towards improving on her mental health? dismantling that which encouraged the downward spiral she had been upon. “you could say that.” she responds simply. “there are those that call me a devil for practicing magic. a stereotype.” she shrugs. she wasn’t one for stereotypes, tended to ignore what people thought of her. 

“You haven’t heard of the Scarlet Witch? i was an Avenger.”  she raises an eyebrow, concentrating on dismantling the magic she had placed upon this town.

“ IS  THIS  BECAUSE  OF  THE  SOUP? “          as  if  she  didn’t  just  send  some  unassuming  burglar  through  her  window.  that  being  said,  it  would  be  nice  to  go  a  week  without  needing  to  replace  a  window…  they  are  surprisingly  expensive,  after  all.  nevertheless,  she  pursues  the  innocence  of  her  illiteracy  with  pointed  fervor.          “ because  i  did  warn  you  that  i  can’t  read.  i  had  to  ask  eli  to  read  it  to  me,  and  his  sokovian  is  limited  to  flirting  with  his  new  girlfriend.  how  bad  was  it?  be  honest  with  me,  i  can  take  it.  oh!  sorry,  you  got  some  glass  on  your  sleeve,  let  me  just… “

“No. Not because of the soup,” the witch replies, a bright smile escaping from her lips. the burglar is wrapped up tightly with red energy, as they waited inside the diner for the cops to arrive. red-painted fingernails are bright against her dark pants as the witch placed her hands on her legs, glancing towards the other for a brief second and then back towards the burglar. “I know that you can’t read. and I’m not talking about the soup.” she replies. “i’m not for sokovia. i’m from Serbia. Easily to mistake the two, I suppose.” she shrugs her shoulders, wiping at the glass on her sleeve. “I want to help you with your powers, Aisling.” she squares her shoulders. “I wish to help.” it was the least she could do.

there’s a concentrated look on her face, increasing the strength of the protection around the star lord. it’s pain that fills her eyes, pain that fills her body from the energy exerted to keep the other from imploding. a slow whimper escapes from her lips, once again increasing the amount of protection. when the other descended, she let out a small gasp, putting her hands on her knees, allowing herself to breathe. 

“yes. i’m alright.” she replies, glancing upwards to him. straightening up. “we should move. they may be gone but...i’m assuming others will be following.” she moves towards the exit, towards the ship that waited for them.
