FUN FACT:

In the manga, yugi only started wearing his collar when the first instance of him switching with yami/atem happened. If you are a genius like myself, then it should be obvious that this was intended as a metaphor signifying how Atem and yugi are now 'bound together' as one host entity carrying two souls.

He also never takes it off, I don't think he even knows he's wearing it actually... anyways in all these fits he's wearing it cus I said so.

I don't think that duel monsters realised that that was the intention behind the collar. Though with a hairstyle like that i'd assume he was just alt too and leave it at that.
