did Chloe get dropped by her agency? I don't see APA on her IMDb pro page anymore 😞 Cowgirl's Story got picked up by Sony, will that help her get a new agent? maybe she's in LA to get a new agent? also Clara just signed with an agent. do you know anything about Coast to Coast?

It is unfortunately common for actors in the dead zone to get dropped by their agencies, but this could also be a choice Chloe made because she was unhappy with her representation and wanted to seek new reps. Having a released film can definitely help with getting new representation, as it can add a lot to your reel. Most agencies aren’t in the market for new clients during pilot season, since they’re so busy staying on top of all the breakdowns, auditions, call backs, etc, but it’s possible she arranged a meeting beforehand and that is what she’s in LA for. She still has a manager, who also has access to breakdowns, so note this doesn’t mean she can’t audition/be in the running for anything.

That’s great for Clara! Coast to Coast is a top children’s agency. Clara’s agent, Meredith Fine, has represented child actors such as Bailee Madison, Joey King, Madison Pettis, and Mackenzie Foy. Clara is very lucky–the earlier/younger you start in the biz, the easier it is to book, and she has gotten really good representation. She’s in an episode of NRDD coming up and I would not be surprised if she booked something else if the Lukasiaks are in LA for pilot season. She’s 7, which is a very bookable age for child actors, and the fact that she got Meredith Fine to represent her means she definitely has potential.

If you aren't surprised she's staying in LA, does that mean you think she has moved forward the thing that was the process stuff you were talking about in December or the stuff from last month which was why she came to LA a week early?

I wouldn’t be surprised if she stayed in LA whether she booked something or not. Obviously some stuff was going on in January for her specifically to fly out early and make Melissa make several round trips to bring her and Kenz to LA. The thing I suspect she was here for does happen in LA but I wouldn’t be surprised if she stayed in LA regardless of whether or not that panned out. January to April is pilot season in LA so there are a lot of auditions going on. Being in LA for pilot season (and not having to do a reality show on the side) would be a great experience and opportunity. She does self tapes when she’s out of town but getting in the room is often so much better. Lots of movies with kids also tend to film in summer, when school’s out (so they don’t have to have teachers on set / have to have them on set less often), so there are also a lot of feature film auditions during spring/early summer.

Sia’s manager just posted a throwback pic to the Grammys 2015 with Sia and Maddie and said “see you this weekend” and Maddie liked it and I’m sitting here hoping she’ll attend as well, their last red carpet look was spectacular and I was so happy for her!
