We had the pleasure to team up with Australian physician and author Dave Coen and to work along his team on this mixed-media film for his second book “Permission To Move”, which takes a whole new perspective on how to treat chronic pain.

Needless to say that this was a dream project. We are known for being restless minds and working with such a vast range of techniques and styles was definitely a creative boost. We loved having so much freedom and the chance to carefully select which way to go to best communicate each of the concepts through the film.

Five new ways to greet people ( in times of covid-19 ) from Nice Shit Studio on Vimeo.

We, human beings are going through a very difficult time, our lives and our habits have been disrupted and we are now behaving in new ways, and taking new measures as we learn, day by day. This project was born only a few weeks back when Coronavirus started to hit harder in Europe - and especially in our heads - as we began to understand something serious was going on. The first thing we tried to change was how we greet people: we’re used to giving long hugs, complicated handshakes and tons of kisses, and all these started to feel somehow inappropriate and unsafe. With the overwhelming torrent of information and (scary) news that gets to us every day, we created this little film aiming to address social distancing in a funny and positive way, with bright colours and playful characters, at least for a few seconds and creating awareness at the same time.

If we managed to get a tiny laugh out of you, we've reached our goal.

BOSE AR | Director's Cut from Nice Shit Studio on Vimeo.

We teamed up once again with our fantastic partners Jelly London to deliver a clean yet energetic animated film to tease Bose’s AR offering.

They are well known for providing the sharpest and cleanest sound to your ears via their beautifully designed products, and have done primarily photo-led campaigns to date, so for this teaser we wanted to continue on with the finesse and stylishness of their existing campaigns and deliver a flowing, clean, and elegantly graphic style, with seamless transitions to guide the viewer along this 1 minute journey.

We’re so happy to share this one, a perfect blend of 3D, motion graphics, and frame by frame animation along with a fantastic soundtrack we created to tie it all together. Please enjoy!
