SPARKS FLY | HUMMELCEST.

Having just recently brushed any lint off his cheerleader uniform, Kurt was just leaving the bathroom to journey to his locker to put some books away when it had happened. And it happened all too fast as he felt himself being spun around and slammed hard against the lockers that was definitely going to leave bruising behind. It caused him to wince before the terrified expression crossed his face.
This wasn’t the first time Karofsky was harassing him and he personally doubted the last. He had a problem with out and proud homosexual’s, and Kurt had been just that ever since he could remember. In fact his twin brother was the first person he came out to since he was the only person he trusted since Nic was the only person in his life who never left his side for any reason. Their mom died young and even if he loved his father, it just wasn’t the same. In fact he had to take over their mother’s job for a few months since Burt couldn’t exactly bake or cook anything beside toast and he didn’t need anyone starving.
Nic was the first person Kurt even told that Karofsky was bothering him only to lead to him begging not to cause a scene because it would lead to no good. He didn’t need his own brother getting in trouble over him. It was the reason Kurt hadn’t told about Karofsky kissing him in the locker room since it wasn’t consensual and terrified Kurt to his very soul that the school bully wanted him in a sexual sense too not just a punching bag.
So it was no surprise that Karofsky pressed into his body the way he did and no that wasn’t any form of eatable object in the jock’s pants that was pressing into his hip and he really wanted to push him off, but he couldn’t. He couldn’t do anything but stand there frozen until his brother intervened and snapped the cheerio from his fearful thinking.
“Wha–NIC! STOP IT!” Despite wanting to jump in between his brother and his living nightmare, he still couldn’t find the ability to move from where he had been slammed against the lockers. Even watching as Karofsky sprints off which allows him to relax. It was like he could breathe again. “What? No, he ju–please don’t kill anyone!” Kurt shakes his head, reaching in to grab at his brothers shirt to grab his attention. “I…I just wanna go home.”
It wasn’t until Kurt’s words had him snapping out of his trance that Nicholas would look over to him with darkened eyes. Nobody dared to hurt his twin brother and expected to get away with it and he would make sure that the jackass ended up paying whenever Kurt hadn’t been around. No. Kurt deserved to be nothing but happy and even if he had to get blood on his hands to ensure that his brother wouldn’t be tormented ever again. Damn it all. He would. Kurt was worth it. He was always worth it.
The fear in his eyes had him breathing through the sudden rage. Reaching over to cup his face and look him dead in the eyes. The wave of relief hitting over him to see that Kurt was actually fine. More startled than anything. And it was his request to head home that would have him instantly taking his hands and pulling him along. Fuck practice and everything else. Making sure Kurt had been okay was the top of his list.
“Come on. We’re gonna get you home. If you want we can even watch one of those bootlegs of your musicals. I’ll sit through it with some cheesecake.” Anything to make him happy. He reminded himself. Even if he wasn’t a huge fan of musicals himself. He knew Kurt loved them and that was that. Encouraging the cheerio out to his car and even opening the passenger door for him to help him in. He grins something foolish. “I know I shouldn’t be saying anything right now but you know how damn cute you look in that uniform? Just thought that I would remind you.” Then shutting the door before moving over to the driver’s side. He gets in to take Kurt home.
When they arrive to the house he parks the car in his usual spot. Moving out and gathering his things before bouncing over to Kurt’s side. “Seriously though. How are you feeling?” He asked. Suddenly a bit more serious compared to what he had been in the car to try and help Kurt to cheer up and smile at least a little bit. Kurt had it a lot rougher than he did growing up and Nicholas hated that. Just because he was different? No. Fuck that. Fuck the world for what they deemed to be normal and appropriate. Kurt was perfect the way he was.
