Sometimes i make weird art
A page out of my MA concept book. The main character, Barnabas.
PENTACLE
PENTACLE
So I haven’t really posted in a while and it’s because I’ve been working on my MA final.
I’ve pretty much completed the thing and now await the 25 physical copies I ordered to finish out the semester.
The Digital version can be found here if you are interested.
A series of nasty murders have wrecked the raucous festivity surrounding the turn of the century in the city of Mormousse. Barnabas Knoll, a newly minted detective, is put on a case that stretches into the darker parts of the cities’ arcane underground. Magic meets mystery, as Barnabas, alongside renowned scholar, Annabelle Yester, races to dismantle dark cults, monstrous subterfuge and fight various magical creatures that reside in the world of Pentacle.
Pentacle is an exploration in visual story driven concept art. It serves as both the author’s 2018 MA project and a portfolio to highlight artwork made in the service of world building.

Something I’ve been working on in my free time which is getting more and more sparse hoo boy.
The colors really challenged me on this one, not sure i’m 100% good with what was chosen but I just had to push forward.
My final i did for my procedural animation class. A re-imagining of the twilight zone intro.
