"The hardest stunt is probably still just basic running.”
I know most of you will scroll past it, but I’m hoping at least a few of you take the time to read it. I am participating in this walk in memory of my uncle Tim Jasper. He was a bright light in the lives of everyone who knew him and was the strongest person I know. He lost his second fight with cancer on October 5, 2013. He was an amazingly vibrant person who never failed to make everyone in the room laugh. We are living in an extraordinary moment. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) is on the brink of incredible breakthroughs that have already begun to change the lives of thousands of patients; treatments that can manage a person’s condition with a daily pill, therapies that seek out cancer cells and kill them, and the use of a patient’s own immune system to eradicate cancer not someday, but today. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Light The Night Walk funds those treatments. This will help people who are currently fighting the battle that took my uncle’s life as well as those who may face the same struggle in the future. Please make a donation to the LLS. It doesn’t have to be much. Every dollar helps. Consider it your good deed of the month. Thanks for your support! RIP Tim Jasper. May angels lead you in.

The media WANTS women to hate their bodies. They depend on it, in fact. More wrinkle cream is sold to women who feel old, more diet pills to women who feel fat and more douches to women who feel dirty… If we stop hating ourselves, they’ll lose billions.
