An intense search and unusual revelations have not yet told us what happened to Malaysia Airlines flight MH370, a Boeing jet with 239 people aboard.
My heart goes out to the families and friends of the 239. Tragedies are always painful, but being in the dark makes this situation even more unbearable.

I remember being very surprised when I looked at the back of my Gatorade bottle to find that what I was drinking was technically 2.5 servings! Well, nutrition labels are getting revamped! Bold calories, standard serving sizes, and a section for added sugars are just some of the changes the FDA is proposing.
I read a lot of articles about this last week. They all mentioned a 90 day comment period for the public to give input on the changes, but none of them said where to do this. So, I did a little digging.
Straight from the fda.gov article: "FDA is dividing the proposed Nutrition Facts label changes into two proposed rules, one that would update the nutrition information based on nutrition science and the label design to help highlight important information. The second covers the changes to serving size requirements and labeling for certain package sizes."

The bkr Bottle
Pros: These bottles are glass! (Which means they're safe, easy to clean and reuse, and it's recyclable.) No plastic water taste! The silicone sleeve is removable and all components are dishwasher safe. They come in two sizes: 500ml and 1L. Although they look short and stout, they fit in standard cup holders. Also, I think these bottles are just SO pretty. Very clean and Apple-esk.
Cons: These bottles are glass! (Which means they can break!) Their customer service is wonderful though and they will replace your bottle if broken within the first 90 days. After looking at the customer reviews, the silicone sleeve does seem to protect the bottle very well in most instances. One other downside is that it's hard to see the water line through darker colored sleeves. Maybe newer models will have a window in the silicone to combat this...

CVS Caremark announced Wednesday it will stop selling tobacco products at its CVS/pharmacy chain.
Quick thoughts:
Wow! This is a bold move and I wonder when others will follow suit. By October, CVS customers will no longer be able to by drugs with their drugs. Additionally, "[CVS] plans to launch a national smoking-cessation program in the spring." Keep an eye out for that.
They say removing tobacco from their stores will cost them about $2 billion a year. Although, I think the multibillion dollar pharmaceutical company can probably take the hit...
And I have to say, I'm glad they will.
