Hi! I wanted to let you know Tumblr app is now forcing images to download as jpgs instead of pngs. This is very bad for emoji makers because it removes transparency. I don't know what to do about this problem. It's possible to obtain pngs from the app by clicking share image, copying the URL, opening the URL in browser, editing the URL to end in .png and then downloading that image. I'm sending this info to multiple emoji blogs.

oh god WHY. Ugh. There's not really anything we can do as emoji makers, aside from having another place to nab the pngs from, I think? On the upside, we do have most of our emojis as pngs in the Discord, so, that's something!

I think sometime soon we're gonna have to have a chat about making DNI banners more accessible, because I've seen many that just aren't readable.
