Daniel Tosh:

When I was thirteen I remember watching “Comedy Central Presents” and they had this comedian come on who I had never heard of before. Usually when I watched the show, none of the comedians they ever had on would make me laugh out loud so to speak. This guy though, this Daniel Tosh, comes on and was one of the funniest acts I had ever seen. He was just this weird goofball that didn’t care he was being a weird goofball. Now I was thirteen at the time, and many people find Daniel Tosh’s comedy to be rather vulgar, offensive, and quite honestly in poor taste. So maybe, he is only funny to thirteen year-olds. I went back and re-watched all of his stand-ups specials recently and I can safely say it isn’t true. He is indeed a complete asshole, but he also doesn’t care and will say what he wants. Daniel Tosh is a sarcastic comedian who comes up with weird scenarios that incorporate topical issues such as race, obesity, gender relations, etc. Quite honestly, a lot of people hate this because he’s mean. It’s the type of mean that is also funny. It’s the type of humor that you don’t want to laugh at, but he makes you with delivery and good points. That takes talent, and he is fine with people getting mad at him for it. The thing is, and he’ll remind you about this, he makes more money than us for telling people all these rather dark truths (or darkish opinions), so really he probably isn’t losing any sleep over people’s mean comments about him on the internet.

Tosh.0 isn’t that great though.
