The original night voyager, Edgar Allen Poe. Famous illustrator Gustave Dore created the drawings for “The Raven” in 1875. This is the first page of the text, with the title “[nevermore]”
Nightflower book inspiration. The original of this book was published in Russian in 1922, titled A Suprematist Tale of Two Squares in Six Constructions. It was a “visual book” for children and it is the story of a “future to be invented.” It was based on the work of the Russian painter Kasimir Malevich and was pretty groundbreaking for its time. It still is in my opinion, nearly 100 years later.
