SO LAST SESSION OF ECHOES OF THE CORE WAS AN EMOTIONAL WRECKING BALL FOR EVERYONE
one of my players' character spoilers were revealed, letting out that he hates master eon and the skylanders because of his skylander father and his mothers deaths. moofy found a folder with files on this players dad, realizing the academy has been trying to help them for the last 20 so years, but they never accepted it and continued to fuel their hatred for the skylanders and hurt people who never did anything to him and wanted to help him, including moofy petalheart herself
moofy was destroyed when she found this out, and she found it by complete accident. she and this player character had a massive argument and now moofy has fully lost trust in someone she genuinely cared about and is having her worldview shaken completely. wondering if the world is truly as good as she always thought it was and if everyone can be saved after all...or if they ever want to be

Killing two birds with one stone by practicing expressions and posing while figuring out Spinstress' colors.
As a Goldenrod Crab Spider, Penny can shift her colors from white to gold and back again. IRL the spiders do it for camouflage on the petals of flowers and it's a full body color swap, but I wanted to give Penny some patterns on her face and limbs to make her design more intriguing. As for why she would shift colors... idk maybe she just did it because she could?
I prefer the white with gold patterning over the inverted palette primarily because its easier on the eyes.
Wallop is rocking (pun not intended) that outfit in the opening animatic.
