Untold Story
Hereās my attempt at a translation of the BSD third light novel, Untold Story of the Founding of the Detective Agency. This rambling post talks about the what and why. Done partly for practice, but mostly out of love for the incredible original.

The book has two stories, both pretty much standalones. The first, shorter one, tells the story of the ADA planning Atsushiās entrance exam. No plans to translate that one, but it is not tied to the main story. The rest of the book is Untold Story itself.

yeah yeah Asagiri said Chuuya probably thought Dazai was dead after he left the PM and before they learned he was working at the ADA, but I'm more interested in Asagiri confirming that Dazai didn't know Chuuya was faking being a vampire in Meursault, it wasn't planned, he just never believed Chuuya could have been defeated and turned into one. And then he was right.
