AU MASTERLIST:
1. Cursed House AU
An au basically taking place in the timeline of Fnaf 4 (with a few minor changes) but giving the Nightmare Animatronics more personality and backstory. Mainly focuses on both the nightmares and Afton family.
2. Night of Deception AU
Dark Deception but it has fnaf characters replacing the canon DD characters. Instead of Doug Houser in Hell, it's William Afton. And instead of demons, it's the fnaf animatronics, mainly fnaf 4.
I just love how this turned out eventhough it gave me so much trouble in the process and even making my wrist hurt but that's just the normal things that happen whenever I draw nightmare lol.
But my hells is he still attractive looking like I know he has a bear form and all but I just love drawing nightmare in his humanoid form it's too much fun, I swear I'll try to do an artwork of him in his bear form again.
So why the roses and raven feathers idk the idea just randomly happened and I went with it, most likely I got the idea from a game or a song without realising it
Short fanfic about Nightmare and how he feels about the other nightmares
Cause if no one writes interactions with them then I will
This kinda turns into a "Well that was fun! Time to go murder again"
Nightmare opened his eyes in pain, and nearly jumped. He glanced around, darting his eyes, as if anything is going to leap out of the shadows and hurt them.
Nothing. Nightmare sighed in relief, and took a look around, gathering his thoughts.
The other nightmares were silent, in a moment of rest. Even though none of them needed to sleep, it was nice to take a break from the usual murder.
Well, as usual as they were. Nowadays it was harder and harder to find anyone. No one lived in the house for decades.
Killing people, was it wrong? Yes. However, to the humans' minds, it was terribly wrong for anyone to do that.
But when you're a supernatural being, then, well, all sense of morality is out the window. Especially if you need to kill to feed, to survive.
Nightmare looked at the others with a worried expression. While they were strong, that doesn't mean things cannot hurt them, like starvation.
It was only a matter of time before one by one, they die. Nightmare didn't want to think of that.
The monsters, they- they were a part of him. They were his family, his children.
If he didn't find anything, then....
Nightmare slowly stood up and teleported outside. While he was able to roam freely into the woods, he couldn't leave the area. Fredbear had made sure of that.
But now he was in the box, and Nightmare was free. The barrier wasn't destroyed, yes, but at least he was free.
Nightmare traversed through the woods, all of his senses active. If he could just find one, just one human, then they'll be able to survive.
Nightmare heard a twig crack, and he immediately dove for cover. A deer sprinted past him, terrified.
Nightmare was about to attack it, but he held back. The deer must have been running for a reason, right?
His nose picked up the scent of a human. Nightmare could barely contain himself. A human!
He didn't want to wake up the others, it would be a fun surprise.
Nightmare slowly made his way through the woods, transforming into a deer as a simple disguise.
Of course he had to make it less threatening as possible, but it was a good disguise nonetheless.
The human was nearby. He seemed to be hunting, trying to find any last prey with his gun.
Nightmare stepped near him, and he could see the Human more clearly now. A middle-aged man with a gruff face and a thick beard. He was wearing camouflaged clothing to blend in. Not bad, but it will do.
There was the sound of a shotgun, and a bullet suddenly fired into Nightmare's neck. He dropped to the ground, motionless.
The hunter walked over, eager to grab the bloody carcass and head home.
Nightmare knew for a fact they wouldn't come home. In an instant, one of the deer's hooves transformed into a thick claw and grabbed the hunter by his neck, pinning him against a thick tree.
The disguise Nightmare wore was ripped off, and the human found himself staring at a tall, nightmarish bear creature. He gave out a weak gasp as his body shook due to fear.
Nightmare's eyes lit up in excitement. Now that's what he wanted to see.
"Oh, you poor man. You thought you got yourself a successful catch, right?"
Nightmare chuckled. "Ah, but how the tables have turned! Ironic, isn't it? Before you were the hunter, and I was the prey. But now... I'm the hunter, and you're the prey!"
Nightmare laughed. The human tried grabbing his gun, but Nightmare just kicked it away.
"We can't be having that, can we? Didn't anyone tell you not to play with guns?"
Nightmare dragged the Human farther into the woods, slowly getting him closer to his inevitable demise.
Has anyone else come to realize N.Fredbear & Nightmare's static screech they make when their in the closet/bed it kind sounds like a flatline, only its just more deep tuned and such?
I doubt that's what it symbolizes canonnly, but as a headcanon or just a general terror factor, that's terrifying. Their basically screaming you're own life's end right at you, less you catch them/stable yourself again. It also aids that even when you beat Fredbear the kid likely flatlines regardless. But given how quick and sudden the can kill you just like how a flatline can happen is just- Well I guess they really would be a pure sign of death if they weren't just figments of someones dreams/visions/etc.
Dunno bout anyone else regarding dis post manages to reach da peeps but I'm totally taking up on this detail cause why not :3
there would have been a mini story to this but nightmare destroyed my wrist so ye, but tbh the artwork tells the story well anyways, but I'm so happy at how this turned out especially the shading and this might be my most favourite artwork so far.
also if you've haven't noticed nightmare looks abit different and that's cause i changed his hair to be long and fluffy and i gotta say it suits him more than his short hair.(and my god that change has gotten me to simp for him abit more)
here's the original version from 2021 if you're wanting to compare:
Evan loves stars and space, so. Hc that Evan once drew a redesign of Freddy: the bear had black and blue and purple gradient swirls across its fur and was covered in glitter and stars, some of which the bear would peel off its fur and give to kids as gifts like the star stickers Evan's teachers would give out, and the bear had a bright cheery yellow top hat and bow tie.
Evan excitedly showed this Freddy redesign to William, but William only brushed Evan off. It crushed Evan that William didn't like and barely even looked at the design.
Except, William DID look at the design. And when William was making the nightmare animatronics to torment Evan, he made one based off of Evan’s drawing.
see these guys? well. something i noticed was that their eye shapes are all quite similar...
...except for foxy
now. i may sound crazy, but listen.
as shown in the picture above, his eyes have a wider shape to them. if they didn't, they wouldn't be outlined like that.
now. assuming the Withered Animatronics were probably the models used in the early 80's,
you can see that there is NOT a similarity there. which would be confusing; why is the child seeing those large, gaping eyes?
it's cause he's taking inspiration from michael.
foxy js directly linked to the older brother/michael/the main tormentor, whatever you believe.
of course the eyes would be larger; he needs to see
he's projecting the image of the mask onto the monsters that torment him. to him; Nightmare Foxy is a projection of his brother.
He's the only animatronic that never leaves.
he'll present himself as a harmless plush-toy. a comfort item (much like older siblings can be a source of comfort for their younger siblings (I would know)). only to twist into a monster.
he is ALSO the only animatronic that doesn't attack immediately. as if reviling in the child's terror.
the child sees foxy as a twisted version of his older brother. it mimics his behavior. the mask. all of it.
