What drives me insane about Merlin and Arthur's relationship is that Arthur woke up startled and flustered with Merlin's name on his lips, and his wife didn't even seem the slightest bit surprised. The most realistic thing Gwen could have said was, "What happened?" But instead, it was as if she already knew EXACTLY what to do in that situation and simply tried to reassure him
