Main Story

Welcome to Wonderland [ Chapter Count: 6/6 ] :  Emery cannot recall how or why she's in the situation that she is. All she knows is that she's been transported to a school for magicians without memory of most of her life. This strange girl along with a monstrous cat and two card soldiers embark on a little adventure let them stay at the school or be thrown out on the streets.

Paint the Roses [ Chapter Count: 10/10 ] : After the incident in the Dwarf Mines, Emery thought that life would finally slow down and give her a moment to breathe. Ace proves her wrong when he shows up at Ramshackle’s door at one in the morning. Such a simple action spirals until Emery is caught under the heel of the Crimson Tyrant of Heartslabyul -- Riddle Rosehearts. Life at Night Raven College might be more complicated than she expected.

Be Prepared [ Chapter Count: 10/10 ] : Emery has finally found a routine and normalcy at Night Raven. However, things never stay normal for long around here. With an upcoming tournament and mysterious injuries surrounding it, Emery, Grim and the members of Heartslabyul are roped into investigating the cause behind it all. Meanwhile, Leona Kingscholar plots a revenge scheme that could finally see him victorious.

This is Halloween [ Chapter Count: 4/10 ] : Halloween is Emery's favorite holiday. Upon discovering the grand festivities that Night Raven College puts on each year for both the living and non-living, she couldn't be more excited to spend the day at the school with her friends. With the fancy costumes, elaborate decorations and treats, it is set to be quite the memorable Halloween with everyone lending their aid. However, the campus is opened to guests for the week of Halloween. As it turns out, a few of those guests have less respect for not only Night Raven College but its own students as well. Terror looms on the horizon, and not in the way that Emery wants. Can Night Raven's students keep their beloved holiday from turning into a total nightmare?

Poor Unfortunate Souls [ Chapter Count: 0/12 ] : Finals season has come and gone for Night Raven College. Much to Emery’s surprise, her friends have all passed with flying colors. However, even those grades have their price. Now in order to free her friends, Emery has to face off against Octavinelle’s Housewarden Azul Ashengrotto and win... or else she’ll lose Ramshackle for good.

Only Second Rate [ Chapter Count: ??? ] : The first semester has come to a close, and Emery’s still not any closer to uncovering her past or why she’s at Night Raven College in the first place. When she thinks winter break might allow her to rest, Scarabia’s Vice Housewarden Jamil Viper ropes her into helping with the sudden tyranny of Scarabia’s housewarden. But there’s more to this situation than meets the eye, with the strings pulled by a diamond in the rough... or rather, a snake in the grass.

With a Smile and a Song [ Chapter Count: ??? ] : Winter break has come to an end, and a new semester has begun at Night Raven College. From the arrival of her uncle, to the approaching culture festival and its Vocal & Dance Championship, and newfound rivalry with Housewarden Vil Schoenheit of Pomefiore, newly official Ramshackle Housewarden Emery has plenty to keep her and tbe boys on their toes. Deciding to audition for VDC might be the pinnacle of it, especially with Vil acting as the headliner.

Since it was confirmed that baby hyena beastmen are born with dark hair that lightens as they grow up, then the same biology is probably applied to baby wolf beastmen too right......

how much different do you think the story would be if yuu was from twisted wonderland?

Assuming Yuu is still magicless, I don’t think this would affect the bulk of the narrative that much. If anything, there may be more emphasis on Yuu feeling useless around all these mages, but the actual major plot beats would still be unchanged since Yuu doesn’t directly participate that much (especially not when it comes to battles).

Yuu being from another world primarily serves as a vehicle to have everything explained to us, so we’d just advance in the story without a lot of those exposition dumps. I’d imagine some explanations of magic would still be in place though, as the average person doesn’t get a magic-based education and wouldn’t know these things.

Given that Yuu has their own plotline about finding a way home in canon, this would probably no longer hold in the new iteration. Yuu might not even live with Grim in Ramshackle, seeing as I’d assume they have a home in Twisted Wonderland to return to. Actually, would there even be a reason for Crowley to let Yuu and Grim in as students if Yuu already has housing and potentially local family too?? There’d have to be some other contrivance to frequently put Yuu on NRC campus, perhaps a pilot program for non-mages to learn more about the curriculum. Or maybe Yuu wants to go into teaching or school counseling, so they have some kind of internship at NRC. The rest of the main story events could play out similarly as they do in canon.

For the arc of Yuu finding a way home, maybe it could shift to a whole storyline about how they have to part ways with everyone (including Grim) because their life plans diverge from theirs. After all, that’s not unusual for high schoolers once university age rolls around. People go to different fields and universities. They lose touch, fall into obscurity. Or maybe we could really lean into the idea of mages vs non-mages and lean into Yuu feeling useless and being unable to contribute when calamity is unfolding around them. Then Twst could be a story about Yuu finding self worth and connection among so many talented but difficult-to-get-along-with individuals.

We could keep Grim becoming increasingly dangerous and unhinged due to eating the OB stones. Maybe Styx deems him a hazard and, in order to avoid a Malleus Draconia part II, they elect to banish him to Tartarus? So he and Yuu could never really see each other again, instead of being separated by worlds.
