My name is Samah, a mother of three children.

I live in a place where survival doesn’t just mean staying alive,

but continuing to breathe through fear, searching for hope between gray skies and silent ruins.

In Gaza, hunger is no longer a food crisis

it’s a weapon used to break the spirit of over two million people.

Getting a bag of flour could cost you everything.

Here, survival isn’t just about getting through airstrikes,

it’s about finding something to feed my children the next day.

I wrote these words because they are all I have left…
