Favorite books/series: Pride & Prejudice, Howl’s Moving Castle by Diana Wynne Jones, The Dictionary of Lost Words by Pip Williams, Fawkes by Nadine Brandes, The Mirror Visitor by Christelle Dabos (series), Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard (series), The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer(series), The Folk of the Air by Holly Black(series), These Violent Delights duology by Chloe Gong, and so many more but this is getting long haha

Favorite Albums/artists: Aventine by Agnes Obel, The Road by Challem, Flower of the soul by Liana Flores, Collapsed in Sunbeams by Arlo Parks, The Smiths, Fiona Apple, Hozier, The Crane Wives. I do listen to lot of classical mainly piano focused music :)

Favorite Book Genres: Fantasy, Historical Fiction, Historical Fantasy, classics, honestly i’ll read pretty much anything as long as I find it interesting :P

I mostly post about books—especially The Mirror Visitor series bc I’m obsessive about it—,reading, maybe one day my own writing?? I love to write but I feel a bit awkward posting about it bc, like, who’s reading allat lol. Other things I love to do are mostly musical! I play a few instruments, and I’m also very crafty✂️🎀Asks are always open!!

In other news, I have preordered Nous, because it finally got translated to English! It comes out August 25 and I’m so excited to read it, it’s not even funny

imagining tsh from francis' perspective and oh my GOD can you imagine the guilt that would come from feeling relieved that your friend has been murdered? going to your crush's dorm because you finally don't have to worry about what said friend would say. maybe hoping that your crush will admit he's into you, that he just couldn't say anything with a confirmed homophobe around. but you've both done such a terrible terrible thing, and who are you to be GLAD that he's dead? and he's high but he's kissing you back (!!!) and then the situationship you're in love with but really trying to move on from because it's so obvious that he doesn't care, he'll never love you back, comes in and well. you take him home because it's better than being alone. but it's such an awful thing you've done. you will never escape this.

My Juliette & Roma playlist is done(for now lol)! Honestly, this one is kind of a weird mix, it’s a mix of old and new, and it’s either absolutely devastatingly sad songs, and then a few songs that are somewhat happy. I do, however, think that this pretty much sums them up😭

After All(with Paris Paloma) by Sarah Kinsley - sorry for me this is the romaxjulliete song. Like tell me the lyrics are not them during every single fight/time apart that they had. It’s just, like, ugh. yes. wow so very eloquent.

Die For You (feat. Tatum Langley) by Scott Bradlee’s Postmodern Jukebox - I love these covers ESPECIALLY for the Secret Shanghai series bc like first off, tell me that song doesn’t match their relationship, and then their twist on the song just matches the vibe of the books so well.

Habits (feat. Haley Reinhart) by Scott Bradlee’s Postmodern Jukebox - Another cover whatever fight me. This version specifically reminds me of Juliette like when she was in New York after everything went down with Roma…….like I just feel like the lyrics so totally summed up what she was probably going through. And the sound is so totally the vibe please do u guys see the vision.

The Mating Game by Bitter:Sweet - This has just the right amount of angst and sweetness. I specifically think this song is so Juliette I love her she’s so evil and sexy. And Roma knows it. As he should.

Million Dollar Man by Lana Del Rey - This is so Juliette in the beginning of ove after Roma literally has a breakup glow up fight me.
