Another reason I separated this moon into two posts was in felt almost insensitive to my girl Daydrift to have her die in the same post as a lighthearted failed confession… First death of the clangen and it was to infection… poor Daydrift…

OMG YO I LOVE YOUR CLAN!! I read pages every now and then very cool :3c /gen AND I JUST READ THE PAGE WHERE BUNGLIDE JOINS BAHA!!

but anyways namessss!!

Perchstar (8) ~ When first reading this I thought of the fish Perch and I was like, woah! Fish name! Pretty cool! But I then also remembered perch is like. A word for a bird sitting? Or just anything sitting really- but honestly both are cool! One cuz I like specific species names, so perch the fish is cool, and two because the idea that a kit with the name Perchkit sits really weirdly or something is funny to my brain! So yeah I do really enjoy this name :]

Daffodilshade (6) ~ Kind of a clunky name, but it also has a very cool imagery to it! I enjoy daffodil- as a prefix, its one of the two syllable ones I see often that works well!! And plus, -shade makes me think of like, a daffodil under a tree in the shade or something. Pretty good!!

Featherbellow (6) ~ -bellow is also such a suffix I never know how to rate it. Featherbellow has a ring to it that I like though!! It's pretty solid imo :3

Hootears (7) ~ I keep misreading this as hoo tears LOL. Hoot'ears is such a silly name though. And silly names are the hardest to rate cuz I LOVE silly names but I gotta compose myself baha. But! I still really like it. So... 7... yes...

Jaggedfoot (5) ~ we love a king with completely normal feet LOL /silly Also I love jagged-, though -foot is a hard one sometimes... Think I feel neutral overall!

Weedflower (1) ~ Weed is always hard in every way because the only thing that fills my brain is weed jokes BUT I will try my hardest not to do that lmfao... Anyways! Without those jokes, Weedkit is honestly a hard kit name to justify. Unless it's like, "I hate my child I am naming you Weed because I hate you", or hell even like a medicine cat/cat obsessed with plants who just loves weeds. Like. Idk. Weed- and -flower being together is ALSO fascinating. Cuz again weed BUT ALSO when I think of a weed that's a flower... I think of dandelions! Which is cool and... yeah. Still, at face value, I do not like this name much since I think Weed- is justt, SUPER hard to use. Definitely not the worst I've ever seen though with Weed-! (that goes too weedblaze I can't that name is SO BAD LOLL)

Heatherfade (9) ~ This one has such strong imagery ough /pos And also the name Heather is like one of my favorites... And Heather the PLANT is so pretty. The idea of a cat being named after this plant? With a dope suffix to go along with it??? AMAZING!!

Daydrift (8) ~ I LOVE THIS ONE??? It's so short and simple but so good?? Idk why I do but, but -drift is

Bunglide (5) ~ hm.. another hard one. With this being a kitty pet, I do like bun- being used. -glide I don't adore a bunch with it... But also the vision of a pet cat at a bakery who then joins a clan? That's pretty dope... I'll make it a 5, since I'm conflicted lol!

Lowpelt (4) ~ side character status, but I don't like low- as a prefix sob

Strikepeak (7) ~ Side character status but strikekit is too cool for just a 5 and the way strike and peak go together to make such amazing imagery??? Yeah, yeah that's a solid 7 for a side character. My blog my rules /silly

Totally get why Weedflower isn’t to your tastes, but figured I’d explain that to the artist of our series (Andromeda) weeds represent resilience! They grow where no other plant dares to. Her favorite flowers are dandelions actually! :3 /lh
