Pantalone, who thinks he's gone mad from the grief of loosing Dottore, because he can hear his voice in his head, constantly talking to him, sometimes he even hallucinate him standing in the room.

Its really messing him up. He's already lost everything, and now he's lost his mind too.

All while the voice is actually Zandik, who had spliced tiny pieces of his soul apart and stored them in the gemstones in Feofans rings as one last backup plan. And now those fragments have melted together back into Zandik after irminsul burned.

Pantalone is the only person who can see and hear him because his memories were used to stabilize the soul.

Dottore sometimes even uses animals to try and communicate with him in a less disstressing way. He'll have crows swoop in and take cigerets out of his hands or... that fuckass lizard crawl up his leg during a harbinger meeting.

All the while Pantalone is just freaking out and the other harbingers are starting to get concerned because sometimes he just stares off into nothingness with his eyes wide open and its really freaking else everyone out.

He's scaring his own subordinates.
