wanted to share my SecUnit OC BLUE (BasLever Unit Eight)!

got my shit together long enough to draw the reference sheet today and I'm quite proud of it

here's a bit of info if you're curious

BLUE and its fellow Units were created by the company and purchased by a pharma corporation named BasLever. It has the BasLever logo permanently on its cheek so it usually covers it up with a patch or sticker of some sort. Preferably something shiny and of course blue. (BasLever's colour is green. BLUE does not like green.) BLUE has a serious case of RBF and does not emote much, but it's actually very friendly. It just. doesn't always come across that way. It does gesture with its hands quite a bit though. Unfortunately, that can also come across kinda intimidating when you have guns built into your arms. It is a much newer model than Murderbot, and deliberately designed to make it harder to disguise itself as an augmented human, with more hard-to-hide obviously inorganic parts (eyes, ears, throat).

you see then the thing is that my ADHD brain insists on throwing down some sketches IMMEDIATELY without any warming up or preparation whatsoever, after not having drawn anything at all for literal months

and when the result of that half hour's work is expectedly rough and clumsy it takes that as confirmation that the whole idea was stupid and doomed anyway and I should just give up immediately

I'm. kinda really bummed today because this weekend is the convention where I had my very first artist alley table nine years ago, and this is the first year since its inception that I'm not attending.

My last convention is behind me and I still have SO MUCH stock left over. I don't want all this stuff to just rot in a drawer.

There isn't much in my Etsy Shop right now because the fees aren't worth it if I'm not selling anything, but ... take a look, see if there's anything you'd like?

I don't have any prints in there right now, but I have SO MANY prints left over. If there's any of my artworks you particularly like, maybe ask?
