“Only soft for you, meu amor.” She rested her forehead back on Brig’s when she noticed her smiling. Belle moved in slowly to press her lips at the tip of the Irish fair’s nose. Why was it always, and only her that could make her feel like this??
Dammit Belle… What do you want from her?
“You know what I miss? Sailing. With you. Remember those days??”
“Now don’t I feel special.” She laughed quietly and gently pushed her forehead against Isabelle’s. And she laughed at the kiss, gently swatting at her shoulder.
“Oh? You miss me ruthlessly teasing you? Or do you just miss watching me scramble up and down the rigging?”
Belle giggled as the thought of her bosses making bets behind her back crossed her mind. It wasn’t really like them to do things like that, but it was pretty much possible if she wasn’t paying so much attention.
Ah, her heart skips a beat. Why exactly? No clue. She carefully wraps her arms around Brigid’s waist again to lift her off the floor and spin her around a few times. Once she knew her feet were safely on the ground, she rested her forehead against her dance partner, “I just missed you in general, meu amor.”
At being picked up, Brigid squeaked and wrapped her arms around Belle’s neck. She closed her eyes and ran her fingers gently through the other’s hair, humming softly.
“Did you? My you’ve grown soft, a thaisce.” After a moment, she lopened her eyes and lsmiled. “I’ve missed you as well.”
[This is going very well honestly he was expecting a very different reactions and walks in] Congratulations on the children I think I may have said that too late..? [Gently smiles and passes her the flowers]
You know I got some in Denmark but I remembered I couldn’t actually bring them into the country so I spent forever looking for a florist.
[Rolls her eyes and flicks his arm] Few years too late when it comes to congratulations considering. [And she just kinda gestures vaguely toward the dogs.]
[Eyes the flowers and raises an eyebrow] You got me flowers in Denmark. Before you left. Oh good Lord.

[And then did as told for once, and smiled before opening the window and leaning outside.] Matthias, what would you have done had I not been at home?
A plain smile worked it’s way on her face. Something in her made her snake an arm around the other’s waist to placed a kiss on the woman’s cheek.
“My bosses know when and where not to talk about work, meu querida… They’re actually still quite stunned that you said yes.” The smile soon turned into a playful little smirk. Her arms went slack, allowing her hands to caress, then rest on Brig’s hips.
“Saying they’re happy for us would be an understatement… I think they’re more excited than we are.”
Brigid laughed quietly and leaned into the touch just slightly. After a moment, she turned to place a kiss on Isabelle’s cheek as well.
“Oh, very good, a thaisce. As long as they behave themselves.” She hummed and leaned forward to rest her cheek against the other woman’s shoulder.
“Are they now? That almost makes me wonder how long they’ve expected us to get married. Gossips, all of them.”
“Right? I’m amazed they didn’t place bets.” Her left hand lifted to take Brigid’s right. She slowly started to move their bodies, as if music was pouring out to fill the room.
“I know there isn’t any music, but I just couldn’t help it, amor… Do hope you don’t mind…” A soft pink dusted her cheeks as she led the dance.
"Who knows, they may have." She smiled into Isabelle's shoulder for a moment before looking at her. The dancing was nice, unexpected yes, but nice. It had been missed.
After a beat of silence she laughed, moving her hand to rest on the others shoulder. "Of course I don't mind. I've missed dancing with you."

Because I’m sure he’d give her good advice and she would do the exact opposite to spite him. This is your sister we’re talking about.
[snorts and crosses her arms] We should bring it back, me and you against the politicians of the world.
Exactly this is my sister I am talking about. [there is a laugh] I love her but sometimes I wanna rip her head off a little bit, but not hurt hurt y'know? [He is going to smile playing with the hair on the back of his head] That sounds like a plan, can Harper be first on the chopping block and then we’ll see who catches on. I am sure Denmark would be all for it. Speaking of Denmark, how is

That's how having siblings is, unfortunately. The things we go through. [Teeny tiny pause] I'm just glad neither of you have to go through what my idiot brothers and I did.
Of course, dear, Harper first and then we get others to join because obviously this is the only way to get things done. [smiles] He might.

"Really? That's still up for debate?" She smiled and rested her cheek on her palm, biting the inside of her cheek to keep from laughing. "Well, at our wedding, your bosses had better be on their best behavior. I'll have no talk of work when I am supposed to be dancing with my beautiful bride."

Belle sat on a wooden stool as the maid of the castle began combing through her curled locks of hair. Hazel blue eyes lingered on the mirror; taking in the painted features of her olive colored skin.
God, she felt so out of place… Why did she have to attended this wedding? The King was probably going to get bored of this woman and execute her like the one before her. Seeing his face made her skin crawl, but she figured The Lord wouldn’t let his unjust lust continue.
Little over another hour, Isabelle was ready. She bowed to the maid that was sent to help her, and she started to make her way towards the carriage waiting outside of the large wooden doors.
‘God, if you have the time to hear my simple prayer… Please send something to stop me from going to this wedding.’ She prayed as she received more help from the footmen to get herself into the vessel, and much to her surprise- she wasn’t alone.
“Lady Isles… What a lovely surprise…” Her voice wasn’t annoyed. It was rather indifferent really. “My brother, Ferdinand, sends his apologizes for not being able to attend. He gets terribly seasick.”
Brigid felt like a doll, something to be dressed and slotted into a role that was not and would not ever be hers. Her face was slathered in more layers than she cared to recall, it felt stifling, ridiculous after the years she’d spent with clean skin and hands covered in dirt. Her hair was loose, yes, but it was curled delicately and styled to look artful. Breathing in the damned dress they’d stuffed her in was painful.
To add insult to injury, she’d been forced from her home to attend the wedding of her brother’s king- her’s too, she reminded herself, she was under his rule- scant days after he’d murdered his second wife. Barely a year since she’d been taken over again. And forced into a carriage to arrive with other guests when she would have much rather been anywhere else.
She lifted her eyes from the book in her lap at the sound of a voice, studying without really acknowledging. After a moment, she gently closed the book and set her hands on the cover, folded gently as was proper. “Ah. And I had so hoped to speak to him.,” She said, voice flat and head gently inclined in greeting.
T'ink if she did we’d ‘ave more siblings, really.
