the trees you grew up with have not forgotten you. their branches still whisper your name in the breeze and their roots remember the paths your feet once traced through their shade.
She does so love her flowers.

if you’re white and you act like race issues are just “unnecessary drama” or “discourse” then sorry to tell you but you’re just…. racist
yes white people CAN and probably SHOULD reblog this just dont add on anything.
Covid is not over and black lives still matter. Stop trying to "go back to normal" when shit is still happening.
Stop going on trips and going to restaurants without masks.
Keep educating yourself and protesting and calling and donating and signing petitions.
Wear a mask. End white supremacy. Defund police.
I know it's tiring but it's not over for either thing even though people are pretending it is. I know the overlap is exhausting. But be safe, social distance, and keep fighting the good fight.
Industry and big businesses have done an incredibly good job of convincing everyone that the general public is to blame for the pollution problem, and by extension, for climate change. They have essentially crowd-sourced culpability, when the real culpability lies with them. The biggest source of pollution, and the biggest contributors to climate change, come from industry and big businesses. That’s where the change has to happen if things are to improve. Climate change isn’t going to stop by you and me recycling our beer cans, it’s going to stop through things like forcing industrialist CEOs to minimize the carbon footprint of their factories. Don’t let them make you think you are to blame for their excesses.
You’re healing every time you
get out of bed because there’s something you’re excited about.
don’t think about people who left.
clean the clutter in the room and dishes in your sink.
smile at yourself and random people.
do something kind and out of the blue to make someone happy.
work out or meet with friends even though you have no energy to.
calm yourself down when your thoughts race.
remember to drink water.
don’t dwell on things you can’t control.
do things good for yourself, even though you have no motivation.
tell yourself that you’re growing from this, and you won’t feel like this forever.
“I’ll risk going out in public just to have a date with you.” is now a pickup line.
