Getting lost seemed to be one of the few talents you had perfected over the years. You're ability to navigate, especially at night was something to be ashamed of. This night in particular you find yourself turned around , racing a storm back to your vacation cabin after a sunset hike. You glance around trying to get your bearings, the thrill of fear and feel of eyes watching you almost palpable. The once noise ridden forest going quiet.
The sound of crunching leaves comes from far to close for comfort, or escape. You turn slowly. Blue eyes reflect moon light back at you. Definitely human, definitely taller than you.
Lightning streaks the sky enough to get a glimpse of him. Short dark hair sticks in odd directions, a few days worth of matching stubble surround a wicked... and stunning smirk. Those ocean blue eyes sparkle with mischief while they promise danger. Your eyes dart around looking for an exit but just a little late as he circles between you and the way you /think/ is the one you need. Leaving you with the option to reverse and head back up the mountain trail or the side trail that you can't remember much about.
With a chuckle he says "You had better run little fox, if I catch you I get to...."
You don't wait for him to finish as you dart into the side trail, jumping rocks and ducking branches. Heavy footfalls stomp out a quick beat right on your tail. He's faster than you but lacking in a sense of agility out here amongst the brambles, roots, and rocks. This is your element, where you thrive. It's showing as he falls farther behind, tripping over the obstacles.
" you're quick Little Fox, I'll give you that!" Still he's laughing, taunting.
The sound is fading but not enough to fool you into slowing down. Lungs burning right along with your thighs, breath heaving, you push on around a turn. Darting quickly down the trail to a split no idea where to go. The choice is taken from you when a noise to the right catches your ears. Your eyes catch a flash of him as he stumbles onto the trail from that direction. Narrowly missing an outstretched hand, as he tries to grab you, you veer left and bolt. Using his stumble as a chance for a head start.
" fuck!" You hear him yell into the night.
Lightning cracks overhead reminding you of the storm you were racing back to the cabin to beat. Rain will set in soon and you'd rather not be soaked and muddy. Maybe being muddy would convince the big bad wolf of a man not to eat you out here in the forest. The trail slopes down and bends again. You take the opportunity to disappear into the trees. More likely to get lost if you're not careful, but if you play this right you can get behind him and back to the main trail before he notices.
You slip behind a cluster of fat trees and wait with baited breath for any sounds of your pursuer. Bending over to catch your breath you put your hands on your knees and gasp. Exhaustion is definitely about to do you in long before your big bad wolf has the chance to. You're starting to wonder if he's gotten lost by the time you catch your breath. There are no sound again, just like when he was sneaking up on you earlier. Fear runs the length of your spine causing you to shake. You whip around, hair flying. He's less than five feet away with that damn smirk painted on his face. He's also cutting off the direction you wanted to go, like he read your mind.
"Are you trying to sneak past me?" He takes a menacing step forward looking thoroughly impressed at the attempt. "Slippery little fox , nowhere to run now" A few more menacing steps and a deep laugh later a vice grip around the waist has you pull chest to chest, flush against your big bad wolf.
Stubbornness and the absolute most die hard competitive streak are other talents you can boast of so with a feral, echoing battle cry you go limp as biscuit dough and fling away from him in hopes of dislodging yourself from the muscular prison.
A scraped knee and freedom are your rewards. Worth it in your opinion. A triumphant smile graces your lips even as you scramble to run again. You can't believe that worked! looking back briefly, puzzled by the lack of chase sounds, he's gone. You're feet pick up speed as does your mind. He'd put himself between you and your intended direction quite often tonight, did he know that was your intended direction or was it simply the opposite of the way he needed you to go? You nearly trip over a root as realization hits you "oh shit, he's herding me!"
Lightning cracks again this time the rain doesn't hold back. The forest canopy is leaving you no coverage as your clothes begin to soak through. Thunder shakes the ground as it rumbles and your thighs shake with over exertion. You /have/ to get away now, it's time to end this! You need a game plan fast. You think this trail splits again just up ahead, past the mountain side. You're unsure what's to the right but left definitely loops back on an earlier part of the trail. You decide to loop back and make another attempt for the main trail.
It was a damn good plan all things considered, you were so proud of it. Now to figure out where that man had disappeared to. You slow to a stop to listen. It's futile, the storm claps and a larger than you'd like lightning strike sends you on your way again.
You realize to late that the mountain side is a cave and he's much to fast, with bulls eye precision. His arms wrap around your waist like a vice this time as he drags you fully into the cave. "AH, Jay!" you shriek, by the time you're brain catches onto the lack of rain you're pinned against the cave wall. His chest brushes yours. His thighs cage one of yours in, the one between yours pressed fully into your groin. His big hands have found their place at your ribs brushing the underside of your breasts but trapped in place by the tight press of his body pinning you to the wall. There's no escape now, you can only surrender to your fate. He knows you've noticed too. You can just make out the crooked smirk and the twinkle in his beautiful blues.
" Are you going to eat me now big bad wolf?" You whisper eyes never leaving his even as anticipation sends jolts of lightning down your spine.
His reply is low and growling, almost rumbling out from his chest "I'm going to do much more than that, little fox."
