One of the most disgusting rethoric around the genocide in gaza is that that project is the work of a few madmen.

The 7th of October event began at seven in the morning, when the occupation ordered the immediate evacuation of homes. My house is in a border area where there was a battlefield. I left my house and did not see it even once throughout the war. I left all my memories and belongings in it, as it had been built before. A short period of time before this devastating war occurred, Not to mention the furniture and valuable items inside it. Here I am returning to it today after the end of this fierce war that did not leave us a single chance to live. And here is my house in this form that you see now. I returned to it and found that it was not the same as I left it, destroyed, and not fit for anything. I do not know where a person would go in such circumstances. I could not accept living away from my home for 15 months, in a dilapidated tent. There is no place for us now, guys. We are in a state of complete disability, but we can start again and rebuild it with your help. I need an amount of 5000 to renovate what is left of my house and re-inhabit it, otherwise we will be destined to remain homeless for the rest of our lives.
