655 Days Inside a Tent Barely Six Meters Wide

‏It’s been 655 days since we were displaced. We now live in a tiny tent in southern Gaza. No electricity. No clean water. No privacy. Just survival.

‏My son Qais doesn’t know the meaning of safety or normal childhood. He’s seen death, destruction, and fear instead of toys and cartoons. 🎶 Even my dear friend Alaa—who tried to fight sadness through music—was killed along with his children while playing music in his tent.

‏We live with broken hearts and shaken spirits.

🍲 Firewood Has Become a Lifeline

‏To prepare food—if any is available—we must search for firewood daily. We collect scraps of wood and debris to cook and stay warm. 🔥 Firewood has become more than fuel—it’s survival. But even that is running out…

💧 Our Greatest Need: Clean Water for 2,500 People

‏We live in a camp of over 2,500 displaced people, and clean water is nearly impossible to find. There are no water networks, no safe sources, and no infrastructure.

‏We urgently need to build a clean water well to serve the entire camp. But:

‏🔒 The crossings are closed 📉 Building materials are extremely scarce 💸 And the cost of digging a well is very high under these conditions

‏Still, we refuse to give up. We hold onto hope—and call upon kind hearts around the world to help us bring life back through clean water.

🌱 What We Need Is Life, Not Escape

‏· 🛖 A safe, basic shelter for my wife, child, and me

‏· 🍞 Food, clean water, and medicine to survive each day

‏· 🔥 Firewood to cook meals and stay warm
