like what timeline and what past did keeper send them back to? because one option both koda and ivan are fucked but koda is fucked either way
did he send them back to the past of the earth that got swallowed by the black hole? if so, dinosaurs still went extinct and the ennergems still exist. they're just gonna go through what happened again, and yeah maybe then they can prevent the earth going into the blackhole but the whole reason they went back im assuming is to be back in their timelines not just to have the same shit happen again
and then if we sent them back in time of the current earth where dinosaurs never went extinct? well. for starters that shouldnt even be possible because if dinos never went extinct the earth and humanity would've developed very differently. but lets just say everything happens the exact same way it did. this is the only way ivan isn't fucked. dinosaurs or not i dont think it'd stop the same events from happening- ivan and the prince would've stopped for water anyway, and tagu still would've gotten cornered by the tiger (sabertooth? i think). ivan is fine in this scenario but koda just . straight up dies . and he doesnt even get that much time back with his family bc its not like keeper can send him back to when he was supposed to be a baby that'd probably fundamentally mess up that timeline. unless he can figure out a way to do it differntly he's dead and i dont even think he can bc the ways its framed koda only gets there right as the tiger jumps so it's either him or tagu. and if it's tagu he just has to live with that guilt for however much time he has left, which is probably a lot since his time in the modern world probably taught him a little more about surviving
and what of the ennergems?? i havent actually watched the ninja steel crossover ep yet (i still want to rewatch NS first despite knowing its. kinda bad) but i know koda gets paired up with preston and they morph. does this mean, whatever timeline they get sent back to, they're still bonded with the ennergems despite them literally being a whole timeline away? i dont actually think this helps koda much since it only makes them biologically immortal (see; the episode where riley nearly fucking Dies) but ivan is fucked also . i mean he Lives but he has to actually live through all that time instead of millenia of darkness, which is not only gonna fuck him up at least a little due to all that loss and loneliness but its also weird in terms of the future with tyler and the gang and such. do they even still hang out together? being power rangers is the thing that brought them together but without that . do they even still meet? and if they do, does he just have to cope with knowing theres a gaping gap where someone else should be in their group? and if they are still bonded to their ennergems and koda for whatever reason lets tagu die instead of himself? does he just have to live with that guilt for eternity? dude this fucking finale sucks i hate it

i REALLY donāt think we talk about the friendship snipping episode enough
like imagine coming from practically an entirely different timeline, being frozen for gajillions of years only to wake up to some strangers and a world thatās moved on without you. and despite that you become friends with these strange new people that are entirely different to you, they dont dress or look or speak or act the same as you but they donāt treat you differently either, youāre just another one of them despite the glaring differences. and you end up loving these people so much, beyond words because you donāt even know the right ones to describe how you feel, that the intergalactic magical monster scissors from space that can literally manipulate peopleās minds and relationships, BREAK!! at the mere attempt of trying to split you apart because the people they tried to split you from, the ones that picked you up and welcomed you and accepted you in a world that was entirely new and completely unrecognisable to you, are people you would do anything for because not only are they your only family now you just. love them so dearly. imagine that. and then no one says a word about it after. man
