🫍One of the nicknames for Orcas, “Killer Whale” comes from an early sailor recounting which referred to them as the “Killer of Whales/The Whale Killer!” Despite the intimidating title, Orcas don’t behave that much differently from other undersea predators🫍

🫍Orcas make for great fishing partners! Just don’t let them get your catch, on average, they can eat 500 pounds of food a day…🫍

🫍The white moon looking mark on an Orcas back is called a “Saddle Patch!” Orcas use them to identify each other in low visibility areas🫍
