NINA CHAMBERS 28. You can save the Taylor Swift jokes, I've heard them all before. Detective with the Chicago PD and along with my sister, we make the department the best looking one by a mile. So yes, that means I own a pair of handcuffs, but they're purely for detective use only.

If it weren’t for school being closed, I actually would have forgotten that it was even a holiday. What you just said reminds me of the fact that too many people ignore what Memorial Day is really about. But, how were those cookouts?

Right? It’s kind of a shame, but at least it was nice to see everyone coming together for something, for once. It’s hard to beat a Chambers family cookout since the art was practically perfected, but some of these came pretty damn close.

This was an amazing day to be in our nation’s capital, able to say thank you to so many wonderful servicemen and women in person. Not to mention, the amount of cookouts I attended was absolutely ridiculous.

I always thought teenagers were supposed to hate cops for ruining all of their fun, but an officer just informed me there’s a nice piece of graffiti out there reading ‘Detective Chambers, will you go to prom with me?’ Looks like my new assignment is figuring out how this kid even knows who I am.

How do you know it was for you and not for the other (former) Detective Chambers?
