a girlâs day â that was one thing that paris had been craving since she up and left all of her friends. she could remember that it was a weekly ritual back when she was in vegas, theyâd spend the weekend at a little spa full of facials, massages, manis, pedis, here and there sheâd even get a little botox, because hey, there was nothing wrong with keeping yourself looking young. but since she moved to san amore, paris didnât have close friends like that. sheâd been making good money at the brewery, but even better money with the few deals that sheâd pushed over the last week now. and dammit, she was ready to blow a little bit of it! so sheâd text nina to make sure the girl wasnât at work â thankful she wasnât and her brother was on shift instead. and paris knew what she was doing now. sheâd taken it upon herself to make it to ninaâs place and knocked on the door like a crazy person. ânina! open up! itâs a serious emergency i think iâm bleeding out!â she yelled out. if there was one sure way to make sure someone was to answer the door, it was to make a scene, right?Â
there wasnât much on ninaâs schedule that particular sunny day. the girl had been so stressed out recently at work since being promoted to store manager, and river had taken it upon him to annoy all the difficult customers into fits of rage and she had been going through all the dozens of complaints, but now, it seemed everything had been resolved. just a nice relaxing day ahead of her that began and ended on the couch with netflix in full swing, or so she thought. that is until, out of the blue, nina heard violent knocks and screams at her door. now, the first thing that popped into her paranoid little mind was: arm yourself. so as she scanned the room for potential weapons, her eyes meeting the frying pan. so pan in hand, she paced towards the door and thatâs when she noticed the familiarity of the voice, it was paris, screaming for help. nina flung the door open, rapidly scanning paris for any wounds and it felt like her brain was malfunctioning when she didnât see anything wrong. â whatâs going on?! are you okay? â she yelped back, but soon figuring it mustâve been a prank since paris just stood there perfectly fine. a little huff escaped her lungs as composed herself. â yâknow you couldâve texted me. â
