Zorilita - Mary Bellamy

Hi! I'm a licensed illustrator and animation assistant. I currently work on the My Little Pony comic with IDW Publishing and Angry Viking Press on an unannounced project. I'm also a sketch card artist for several official sets including Adventure Time, Marvel, DC Comics, Ghostbusters and more. I've worked on over 150 books including children's picture books in London. I also self publish my own series Ah Heck!! and Faux Facts and have exhibited at San Diego Comic Con officially since 2009. I wanted to draw a Mimic from G1 in a G4-like style, since the new announcement for the show just came out. I really want to see the older ponies make an appearance. I based her more on the doll than the cartoon version of her since those colors were muted out. She came out Rarity-like, but I was going for the doll's original eyes. They could probably debate how to make the golden horseshoes a fashion statement. I also made her pupils crystals too.

I also really liked Melody of G1. I imagine her to be a singer who travels the world looking for the perfect inspiration for her next song. Adventure meets pop culture.

And Bowtie...this is probably the last one. She'd be a tween who younger fillies look up to and she'd have Applejack as a mentor.

It's been quite a while since I've drawn the human girls of Zorilita Guardians, as the mascots have been the ones getting pins and plushies at Comic Con. Zori and Bunny have always been related to each other. I also returned to the leotard outfits and their older versions without the jackets and skirts. #zorilitamarybellamy #zorilita

Way back in 2011 I did a guest art for Holly G's School Bites comic. Her booth was not far from my table at SDCC and she was super cool and supportive. I did this image for her but years later I wanted to go back and use some new coloring on this image. The original one was pretty flat and I had to tweak some of the art because it was old. Either way I had fun restoring this one.

I used to do a lot of commissions for this person. I found this image from 5 years ago that I didn't think worked at all. There were too many elements overlapping in strange ways so I've updated it. This might be my most pastel image I've ever colored.

A commission that was done for a fan for Christmas. Her father wanted me to create a ponysona for her and to also draw Whoa Nelly with her.

Non MLP pony fan art. I recently found Decora Ponyz that are a lot cuter in person and even a bit bigger than the MLP G4 toys. I also wanted to draw the Hatchimal's alicorn and the Wild Manes. Also, Rainbow as an MLP character for decorations for the final Faux Facs book.

Patreon requests, I decided to finish. Normally, those would be an extra month to color. It's also been forever since I've drawn Zoricha,n who used to be my main OC. Chastity and Deliliah have since taken over.
