Also, please remember nuance is a thing. And just because something is a certain way in the US it doesn't mean it's the same way in the rest of the world. And that as shitty as it is, no, the US isn't a dictatorship (subject to change, hopefully won't). Y'all don't know what it's like to live through the bullshit we've had to face. So don't try speaking over us as if we didn't know the subject at hand.

If you'll be donating physical items, such as food cans, medicines, etc: Write on them "Fuerza Venezuela" or something else with permanent marker to identify them as donations. Govt people have already tried to steal and resell donations before, so this way it's less likely to happen, and more likely to actually end up in the hands of folks in need.
