Pre relationship Satoru Gojo x reader.
Yandere Gojo. short drabble. JJK AU. ft. Toji.
Back to when Satoru was still tip toeing around his feelings for you— he tried to give everyone the impression that he thought nothing more of you than a platonic friend. Not that anyone bought it. Especially not with the stupid look he gets on his face when you were around. Following you everywhere like a lost puppy and the incessant need to bring you up in every conversation.
It was annoying to say the least. So one day his friends decided enough was enough. They’d do a harmless prank and hopefully it would snap Gojo into action.
All of you decided to go to the opening a new milk tea shop in town.
It was a bright spring day, the weather perfect as you browse though the different flavors on the menu. Satoru thought you look extra pretty today with your airy sundress and the light brush of makeup on your face.
“Ill probably buy my favorite flavor.” You point to one as you hum. “But I've never tried this one before and it looks pretty good too.”
“I can have the other one so you can try it out.” Satoru grins.
You beam at him and it was then Satoru realized why men go to war for their women.
“Thanks, Toru!”
Shoko steps in and grins, “Yes! thanks Satoru, you’re paying for everyone right? Okay great.”
He barely has time to react when Shoko loops her arms with yours and drags you away to the counter with a ridiculously long cue, Haibara already in line with Nanami.
“Hey!” He pouts, you were suppose to be buying milk tea with him.
Just as he was making a move to steal you back, a deep voice calls from behind him.
“Gojo.” Toji greets, a smirk on his lips.
Satoru frowns. Toji didn’t usually hang out with you guys, only showing up occasionally, and he was fun to hang around with, but now there was something about his smile that didn’t sit right with Satoru.
“What?”
Toji tilts his head suggestively, “You and y/n are just friends right? Not hookin up or anythin.”
“Yes, we’re just friends.” He says through gritted teeth.
Toji’s smile seems to widen at that, “Great, so ya wouldn’t mind if I make a move on her?”
Satoru ears starts ringing, everything fading away. His fists clenches, the possessive monster inside him clawing to get out. The way Toji’s eyes drags up and down your body makes him want to gouge them out and serve it to you on a silver platter. You were his.
His. His. His.
And the only way somebody else can get to you is over his dead body.
A derange smile curls on his lips, it would have looked friendly if it weren’t for the unnerving look in his glowing blue eyes. A shadow envelopes his entire face, cursed energy going haywire. “Try it.”
His voice sent a shiver down Toji’s spine, the hair on his neck standing. He had to tamp down the urge to run away. Every instinct telling him that Gojo was a second away from decimating him. Insane. This man is insane.
Suguru steps in between them, eyes wide, “Satoru calm down or you’ll blow up this entire block.”
You, Shoko and the others were now glancing at the scene with worried glances. Satoru’s cursed energy was making every piece of technology malfunction and the humans were starting to notice. You didn’t know what they were talking about to trigger such a reaction, but you know it shouldn’t escalate.
Closing the distance, you tug on Satoru’s arm, “Satoru come on, its almost our turn in line.”
Satoru jumps a bit at your touch and like magic, it snaps him back into himself. And as if he wasn’t on the verge of murdering someone a few seconds ago— he smiles at you sweetly, blue eyes bright and accommodating. “Our turn already? That was quick.”
You give him an exasperated smile, almost a grimace. The change in emotion giving you a whiplash. “Yeah, the service here is really good.”
As you tug him towards the counter, you turn your head to Suguru and Toji, giving them stern and questioning look.
“What are you guys doing?” You mouth.
Suguru sighs, shaking his head helplessly while Toji only frowns, grumbling something to himself.
When your out of hearing range, Suguru turns to Toji, “Well that backfired.”
“You little fucker! You didn’t tell me Gojo was some kind of freak.” Toji snarls.
Suguru shrugs, “I thought that was implied.”
“I almost died!”
He waves him off, “Oh, calm down. He wasn’t going to kill you in public..I think.”
“I’m gonna to kill ya myself if you don’t pay me extra for this!”
Suguru merely snorts, ignoring the large man. His eyes zoom in on his best friend who’s arm was now wrapped tightly around your waist and he sighs again.
Seems like he needs to do this some other way that won’t lead to homicide.
pov: your overworked boyfriend, Hiromi HIguruma, takes a much need snack break. Particularly something sweet.
Work has been hectic for Hiromi this week. A particular difficult case that has taken up most of his time and attention. Even on his one day off, Hiromi secludes himself in his home office in order to avoid any distractions. Said distractions usually walked around with bright eyes, tender smiles and wearing nothing but his shirt. It made him wanna shove all his hard work to the ground and place you on his desk instead. So the distance was for the best.
Not that he wasn’t having a hard time keeping his hands to himself.
You were nothing less than supportive though, understanding how much his profession demands from him. Hiromi was incredibly good at his job so its no surprise that he gets all the tough cases. The logical part of you understands, but the ridiculous, needy part of you who misses your boyfriend, wants his attention. Still you couldn’t do that so you settled for delivering his meals and snacks like clockwork to his office.
You’d steal glances at his handsome face every time you go in, jaw all set and eyes narrowed before softening into something tender once he notices you. A look he reserves only for you.
And like clockwork, you expect a prize every time you deliver his food.
“Hiromi,” You chirp, eyes gleaming expectantly.
Looking up at you, he smiles fondly before reaching up to gently pat and caress your head. “Thank you again, sweetheart.”
His gratitude and soft touches make you giddy and was enough to sate you for a while.
Afternoon hits and Hiromi notices you coming to his office more frequently, lingering longer than necessary, making a show of browsing throw his bookshelves or arranging the the encyclopedias in alphabetical order. You looked so serious, lips curved into a soft pout. Hiromi had to cover his mouth to hide his smile. It wasn’t just him having a hard time.
You were simply too adorable.
After your third snack visit within the hour, a plate of apples in your hands, Hiromi calls you over. “Come here.”
If you were a cat, your tail would be swishing all over. Smiling happily at his request, you quickly close the distance, placing the plate on the desk. Hiromi maneuvers you down to his lap, you knees straddling his thighs. Your-his shirt lifting up, revealing your soft thighs.
He takes in a sharp breath. He might be a powerful lawyer, but he was a weak weak man when it comes to you. Calloused hands began palming your thighs, squeezing and caressing the plump flesh of your sensitive skin making you squirm in his lap.
Yeah, maybe it was time for a short break.
“Do you want to stay here with me for a while, baby?” Voice still soft but with an underlying desperateness.
You almost jump at the chance before you remember, “Its okay. I don’t wanna distract you form your work. We can hang out later.”
He missed you, and you clearly missed him. This was your rare day off together and it eats him up that his not spending it properly with you. Not to mention, he hasn’t kissed you since this morning and he’s starting to experience withdrawal pains.
“You won’t be—“He hums as his arms pull you closer, “—I’m starting to get tired and I need you to help me recharge,”
That perks you up immediately, a big grin flitting through your face before you wrapped your arms around his neck, nuzzling your face in the space between his jaw and collarbone. Hiromi responds in kind, pressing his nose to your hair. There was no more space between the two of you. You chest pressed to his muscled front, his warmth seeping through your skin. The both of you let out contented sighs.
“Thank you, my love.” He murmurs into ear, the gesture making you shiver.
You merely hum, so pleased to finally be in his arms. After a few moments, he breaks the silence. “Sweetheart, next time don’t hold yourself back if you need me.”
You blink, pulling back a bit. Heat infused your cheeks, slightly embarrassed that you were so obvious. “But Romi-”
“No buts-” He starts, deep brown eyes boring deep into yours,”-You come first above everything. Besides, I need you too. All the God damn time in fact. Never doubt that, okay?”
How could you say no to that?
One hand tucks a stray hair behind your ear then rests at the back of your neck. “You understand me, sweetheart?”
Oh, your sweet sweet man, you couldn’t help but tease him. “Yes, Sir!” .
He groans, head falling back on his chair. When he leans back up, his gaze is more intense, more predatory as he locks onto you. The hand on you neck pulls you closer til he’s only a breath away, “You drive me insane.”
Then he crashes his lips to yours, kissing you so desperately. Tongue tracing the seam of your lips, as he angles your head to kiss you deeper, making you whimper into his mouth. It only urges him on, barely letting you breath in between kisses. You tasted sweet, like that apples you peeled for him and he couldn’t get enough.
His hands kneading every part of you he could reach before hoisting you up with one hand on your rump. His other hand knocks everything out on his desk to the floor without a single care.
Laying you down gently on it, kiss finally breaking as he gazes down at you. Your hair was splayed out like a halo, doe eyes glazed over and your lips swollen and red from his attention. The shirt you were wearing had ridden up, exposing your lacy panties. Fuck. The sight almost ends him.
You were an angel sent to ruin him and he’d gladly let you.
The way you moaned his name afterward didn’t help his already leaking cock behind his zipper. He could barely wait to push inside your gummy walls, but first..
His fingers start tracing the hem your panties, tugging on them playfully, a smirk on his handsome face, “About that snack..”
AN: AHH first time writing something so suggestive. First time writing for Hiromi too. Thoughts??
pov: you fell in love with someone who makes love feel easy.
A stupid argument with Satoru that ended with both of you in a huff, with slammed doors and raised voices. Specifically, your voice. You already regretted the words before they left your lips but your emotions got the best of you. You didn’t mean a single word but it was too late. Satoru’s eyes widened in hurt before dipping completely, his face a mask of indifference.
Your chest was still heaving in exertion when he left quietly. The silence was deafening and the guilt sat heavy in your chest. God, what were you even fighting about?
After calming down a bit. You grabbed your keys and coat, determined to make things right. Satoru had basketball practice today so you head to the university gym.
In a few minutes, you were at the court and not even halfway in. Yaga, the coach, approached you.
“Well, if it isn’t the reason my star player can’t focus.” He said, a teasing lilt in his voice.
Your brows furrowed, “Im sorry?”
He pointed his thumb behind him towards the sound of rubber shoes squeaking and the loud thumping of a ball. “Gojo hasn’t been able to score a single point today or even make a decent pass. Which is saying something. That boy has an ego bigger than the planet and he’s barely fazed by all my criticism.”
“I didn’t mean to cause any trouble, Coach.” Your gaze dropped to the floor.
Coach Yaga chuckled lightheartedly, “If you’re here to apologise, do it fast. The entire team’s suffering and that idiot keeps looking to the bleachers, most likely expecting you to show up out of thin air.”
“Im on it.” You smile sheepishly.
————
It didnt even take 10 seconds for Satoru to spot you at the edge of the court. He turned mid step and rushed to close the distance between you.
“Baby, I-“
“Satoru, Im-“
You both said at the same time. He was sweaty and out of breath, blue eyes glimmering with hope and the guilt comes back ten fold. He wasn’t supposed to be happy to see you, he was supposed to be mad and upset. Instead he looked like a puppy who’s owner finally came to pick him up from doggy daycare.
“Me first, okay?” You murmured, a worried smile on your face. He nodded, fingers twitching at his sides.
“Im sorry, Toru. I was mad and upset but that didn’t give me any right to say that to you. It was cruel and mean and that isn’t me. I love you and you didn’t deserve any of it. Please forgive me. I’ll be-“
Your words are cut short when he pulled you flush to his chest. Satoru caved into you, his arms wrapping tight on your back and head, as if you’d disappear if he let go.
“Fuck, baby.” He rasped into you ear.
“Wait- Im not done-“
He shushed you gently, breathing in the scent of your shampoo. “You didn’t have to say anything. Just seeing you here all doe eyed and waiting for me is all I could ever need.”
Pulling back, he tucked a stray hair behind your ear. Voice soft and apologetic as he spoke, “Im sorry too, princess. I didn’t help by being my annoying and condescending self either.”
“Ill forgive you if you forgive me.” You hummed.
“Done deal.” Satoru leaned down and pecked your nose.
A basketball bounced off Satoru’s head from behind. “Ouch- what the hell!?” He turned around, a hand on the back of his head.
Suguru smirked, “Sorry to break the party lovebirds, but if your done kissing and making up then its time to get back to practice.”
“Im coming, Im coming.” Satoru grumbled while rolling his eyes.
His blue eyes lit up again when he turned to face you. “Wait for me?”
“Of course.” You smiled brightly at him.
“One more thing,” He cradled your face before pressing his lips to yours in a short yet sweet kiss. You moved to push him away but he leaned in for another peck. “One more.”
Then another and another and another.
You giggled at the barrage of kisses he left. “Sa-satoru stop!”
“But I haven’t gotten my fill yet!” He pouted as he ducked down for another kiss.
You clamped a hand over his lips, “Do you want another ball to your head?”
“Suguru said to kiss and make up!”
“Im pretty sure thats not what he meant.” You gave him an exasperated look still you couldn’t hide the smile that tugged on your lips.
It was so easy with Satoru. He didn’t drag out the argument, didn’t hold anything against you or try to hurt you back. He just accepted you back with open arms and started loving on you again. You were never gonna take that for granted.
“Fine!” He sulked all dramatic.
You lowered your hand, “Now go! Ill kiss you all you want later.”
And he seemed to perk up after that, a big grin on his handsome face. “Ill hold you to that.”
“Yeah, yeah.” You waved him away.
“But-“ He leaned down again, “one last time for good luck.” He kissed you again, a bit longer this time. Pressed his lips insistently over yours, as if trying to erase the harshness of everything that left both of your lips. The type of kiss that made your knees weak and made you feel faint.
“I love you, sweets. Talk to you later.” He whispered with a wink, smirking at your dazed eyes.
That smug little bastard.
An: not proofread. Wrote this at my internship cause I was soo bored 😴
Why shouldn't you send a voicemail to your ex on his birthday? angst to comfort.
Suguru x reader
You rummage through your closet trying to find the perfect little black dress for a night out with your friends tomorrow night.
After approximately 30 minutes of throwing clothes behind your back and trying on dress after dress, you now stand in the middle of your bedroom surrounded by a small mountain of clothes.
At the corner of your eye, you catch a grey shirt standing out midst your light summer dresses. You squat down to pick it up. The shirt far too big to be yours.
“Must be one of my old rock band tshirts — oh.” Your heart drops as your read the tag and realize just who owns this shirt.
You raise it up properly. It was a simple grey shirt, a little faded and worn out. You must have hid it at the back of your closet a long time ago. Probably not wanting to see it yet not having the heart to throw it away. It was memento from what felt like another lifetime ago.
Biting your lip, you couldn’t help yourself or maybe you were some kind of masochist, but pull off your dress and slip the t-shirt on.
And suddenly you were 17 again. Young and naive. Thought you had the future figured out. You grip the edges of the shirt that ended on your upper thighs. Just like that, you could hear him laughing with his long raven hair falling out of his bun, the sun behind him. Your throat tightens as your eyes start to sting.
Dropping to the edge of your bed, your grab your phone to try and distract yourself as you blink away memories. The universe must hate you because now the date catches your eye. February 3rd.
It was his birthday.
You let out a shaky breath.
You’re okay. you’re okay. you’re-
A traitorous tear falls down. its doesn’t take long until you’re heaving. Curled up in your bed as your sob into his shirt.
God, you hated how weak you were when it comes to him.
You remember all the times you left voice messages on his birthday, year after year. You eventually stopped when you realized no one was ever gonna answer or worse, no one was listening.
That should have stopped you from scrolling through your contacts and clicking on his name right now, but apparently putting on his shirt transported your mindset to a 17 year old as well.
Shoko would kill you if she finds out what you were doing. You didn’t even know if he was still using this number or a message would even go through, but you were sad and emotional. Drunk on your tears. You can get away with one stupid mistake. This was the last time, you swear.
You press the record button and put the phone to your ear.
“Hi, Suguru. Must be a surprise to hear from me, huh.” You sniffle.
Sitting up, you continue, “I just— actually I don’t know why I called— I “You took a deep shaky breath,” I found one of your old shirts and now I’m—” I’m here stupidly calling you and on the verge of pathetically sobbing into the phone.
“Its stupid… I miss you and I hate how I’m probably always gonna miss you. You’re probably laughing at me for still being hung up over you, but for your information— “You fix your shoulders. “ I have friends, hobbies, a good career. I have a great life.” I just wish you were a part of it.
“I’m not moping around over you. This is just a moment of weakness.” You ramble on. “Anyways, the reason I called— its your birthday so Happy Birthday, Suguru. And despite everything and what everyone says… the years I spent with you are still my favorite…— Wow, that’s embarrassing. You’re probably never gonna listen to this so its fine.”
You laugh deprecatingly as your voice breaks at the end. “Bye, Suguru.”
——————
Suguru drops his phone as the tone drops, signifying the end of your message. He stares melancholically out his window.
Its been a while since you’ve sent him a voice message. He never answered them but he listened to each one, sometimes a bit obsessively. Playing them over and over again. It was the highlight of his year. Listening to your voice got him through the darkest of nights, pretending he was right next to you.
So when you stopped, he figured you’ve finally moved on. Finally realized he was the villain everyone painted him to be. It wasn’t easy to accept of course, it was like someone pushed a hot rod down his throat and pulled his heart out with it, but he dealt with it. Believed it was for the best. He chose this path after all. A life without you. You deserved to be happy even without him. So he stayed away.
But now.. the years I spent with you are still my favorite.
It was like a hot wire to his heart.
He stands up and grabs his keys.
Mimiko bumps into him on the way to the door. “Where are you going, Geto-sama?”
Suguru smirks as he turns down the hall, “To pick up my birthday present.”
-------
I dont know why but everytime I think of Suguru, I think angst.
Suguru comes home early. pure fluff. everyone is alive au.
Just as you were about to open your building door, a familiar voice calls your name.
“What are you doing here?” You ask, shocked and happy all at once.
Suguru laughs at the disbelief in your voice and slow tug of a smile on the lips he’s missed so much.
The man in question, stands there with his hands in his pockets, still in his Jujutsu uniform. Along with a sly smile and warm amethyst eyes that you haven’t seen for almost two weeks due to him being sent oversees.
“Happy to see me?” He teases.
You practically squeal, a full blown grin on your face, dropping you bag on the ground before jumping into his embrace to which he happily returns. Your familiar scent envelops his senses, sending a comforting warmth and relief throughout his body. Finally he was home, “Beyond happy!”
He chuckles into your hair and plants a kiss on your temple. Soft and reverent.
“But wait—” You pull away just a bit, but your arms stay steady around his shoulders, as if he might disappear if you stop touching him. “—You said you wouldn’t be home before friday?”
Suguru smiles, arms pulling you closer. “We managed to exorcise the last curse a lot faster than expected.”
You nod in understanding.
“That’s great! Everyone got to go home early.” You chirp.
“Actually—” His smile turning sheepish. “— the Nanami and Haibara are still there.”
“What? Why?”
He shrugs like it was no big deal. Like he didn’t have to make logical explanations to Yaga to let him leave early because his body was experiencing withdrawals from you. Like Gojo didn't teasing him for hours on end like a dog with a bone. “I flew with rainbow dragon back. They're wrapping up a few minor things, they’ll be back by tomorrow at the latest.”
“Suguru! Why didn’t you just come home together with them tomorrow? Its only one night.” You ask, baffled.
“It was either spending another night without you in a bleak hotel room or sleeping next to you, it wasn’t a difficult choice.”
Your confused face turns into something so soft and tender with tinge a of exasperation. He could feel the love pouring out of you in waves.
“You’re crazy , you know that.” You huff, voice dripping with affection, your fingers clutching his dress shirt tightly.
Suguru catches on of your fists and lifts it up to his lips, pressing soft kisses on your knuckles. “Just about you"
Without waiting for a reply, he pulls you back flushed into his body, arms wrapped around you, tucking you into the crook of his neck. “I missed you. I missed you so damn much, you have no idea.”

This went a lot better in my head. Kinda sucks or maybe its because im sick so I feel like it sucks?
Mafiaboss Sukuna who’s casually wiping the blood off his cheek as if its just another thursday. And to him—it was. Just the same old routine. Another attempt at his life. His enemies never learning. Sukuna taking their lives instead and ending in a bloody massacre.
He sighs, leaning back on his chair. Not caring if anything got smeared in blood.
Uraume walks in, closing the office doors quietly behind them. “I apologize for the disturbance, Sir, but we have a situation that we need to address.
Sukuna tilts his head, indicating them to continue.
Mafiaboss Sukuna who’s surprised when the office doors slammed open and you rushed in. Breathing labored as you study his bloody clothes and scratched up face. Worry and panic takes over your expression, yet you freeze in place as if contemplating whether you should go to him or not.
You didn’t get to make the choice as Sukuna stands up himself and closes the distance between you two. He stands tall in front of you, gesturing to his body. “I'm fine, brat. This isn’t my blood. "
Relief seems so seep into you, your shoulders relaxing and your eyebrows softening.
Mafiaboss Sukuna who’s heart stumbles like an idiot when you suddenly threw yourself into his chest. Your arms circling his waist as you clutch onto his bloody shirt like a lifeline.
It takes him a second to return your embrace. Cradling you to his chest. “Worried about me or somethin?”
He wanted to tease you for being so worried about him. You were after all a hostage.
A gorgeous little thing.
Yes, he’s treated you kindly. Flirted with you out of his better judgment. You’ve soften up around him, sure, but you never been openly affectionate toward him. Lest you betray your family and all that. So he was about to call you out on it.
But all of that goes away when you look up at him with tears lining your pretty eyes, and it was like a punch to the gut. He cradles your cheek and you lean into it. Fuck, he was a goner.
“Hey, I’m okay.” He says with a gentleness he didn’t know he was capable of.
You nod before pressing your head against his chest once more. As if making sure his heart was still beating.
“I know..- I just..”
“Shh. I know, its okay. I’m right here.” He runs his fingers through your hair, soothing you.
“I didn’t mean to overreact, its just- when I heard someone was trying to kill you, I thought..”
Sukuna knows what you thought.
He presses soft kisses on your hairline, before resting his chin on top of your head.
“I don’t go down that easily, sweetheart.”
He couldn’t hide the smile in his voice as he said that. Your concern sparking a type of joy and dark male satisfaction he has never felt before. If he was a cat, he’d be purring by now.
Mafiaboss Sukuna who’s arms tighten possessively around your waist. The blood of his enemies seeping through your clothes.
And he makes an irrevocable decision.
He’s gonna start a war. Why?
Because there was no way in hell he was giving you back to your family.
---
a/n: wow, me posting two days in a row. A rare occurence.
It was late at night when the loneliness crept in. The ramifications of holding everyone at arms length finally seeping through. Satoru has loved and lost, and despite always showing such a cheery front, those painful losses has chipped away at his heart. The strongest was scared to care too much, only for the person to be ripped away from him once more.
And then there was you, the only person who tore down the walls around his heart brick by brick and you weren’t even trying. You got under his skin and made a home in his heart. Try as he might to push you away, to pretend you didn’t mean anything. Just a colleague, an acquaintance, a friend at most. It couldn’t stop the longing and the ache in his heart every time he sees you. His arms just aching to pull you in and never let you leave.
So now, when his bed feels extra cold and a tad too empty. He makes a decision. Even he deserves to be selfish sometimes.
In half a second, he stands in front of your bedroom door. Bracing himself. Would you throw him out?
He slides open your door. Your scent enveloping his senses and his eyes landing on your sleeping form under the covers. The rise and fall of your chest indicating a peaceful sleep. The moonlight cascades from your windows, highlighting your pretty face. Gojo had to stop the urge to trace your features once he got closer.
You were laying on your side, snoring lightly. Gojo figures he can just slide in, sleep and then slip out when the sun comes up.
“Satoru?”
Crap. So much for that plan. Still he slides in under your covers and lays on his side facing you. You looked dazed and confused, like you weren’t sure if this was a dream or not.
“Go back to sleep, sweets.” He whispers.
You rub your eyes, trying to fight the grogginess. “What are you doing here?”
“I..-” He wasn’t sure or maybe he wasn’t ready to acknowledge why just yet. All he knows is that he couldn’t fight it anymore. Being near you calms the chaos in his mind and lightens the burden on his shoulders. The emptiness he felt? A distant memory with you only a breath away.
“I wanted to see you.” He confesses quietly.
Your glance at the digital clock on your night stand, “At 2:00am in the morning?”
“A good time as any.”
You laugh a little, still half asleep.
“Do you want me to go?” He had to ask. He might be selfish tonight but not on your account. If you were uncomfortable, he’d leave right away.
Thankfully, you shake your head. Smiling sleepily at him, “No, stay.”
And the way you curl into him made his chest tighten in the most pathetic way, his hand hovering over your back for a second before finally landing on your back, clutching your shirt as he pulls you flush to his chest.
You tuck your head under his chin, your breath tickling his collarbone. And its like his body takes a sigh of relief after negating it of its needs for so long. Your breath evens out and you were out like a light.
“Thank you.” He kisses the top of your head as he runs a hand through you hair, careful not to wake you.
He wanted this everyday. Tuck you into his arms every night and kiss you awake in the morni-
Shit. This was bad. He was getting carried away. You were like a drug and if he isn’t careful, he’ll get addicted. That is if he isn’t already.
This was suppose to be a one time thing. He was suppose to leave before you wake up but now its unthinkable. Someone would have to pry his cold dead body off you.
But the important question is, could he have you? Did you even want him? And if you did, could he really be so selfish as to risk your life when his enemies ultimately use to you to get to him?
The world isn’t ready to see the type of person he becomes is something happens to you.
He caresses your back, fingers slipping under your shirt. You were so soft. So vulnerable. So easily hurt. Memories of his friends dying flashes at the back of his mind and he pulls you even closer.
This was a mistake. You’ll die and he’ll lose it. He’ll tear this world apart and-
“Toru..” You mumble in your sleep. Your soft voice pulls him away from his nightmares.
You were here. In his arms. Safe. He breaths you in to calm himself down.
And he tries to think more rational thoughts.
Yes, you were soft, but you were also so strong, so fierce and so brave. A special grade sorcerer. Your abilities were extraordinary. You didn’t really need his protection. And if worse comes to worse. He’d be there for you. He is the strongest after all.
This new found realization alleviated some of his fears.
So why couldn’t he have you? Why couldn’t he stay and stare at you like some creep until you woke up?
Maybe he’ll stay and you’ll talk tomorrow. A part of him knows that he's being selfish, but why cant he be? He has love and dreams too you know. Why did having the mantle of being the strongest have to come hand in hand with being the loneliest too?
Your words echo in his mind.
Stay.
So he does.

A/N: sorry for being awol for the last few months :'(
࣪ ִֶָ☾. New Years Eve as the strongest can be a bit lonely. Good thing Suguru loaned you his rainbow dragon.
The late night wind was cold as Gojo perches on top of a high rise building. The new year was still a few minutes away but that didn’t stop people from already lighting up the sky with fireworks.
Gojo still had work to do. Somehow curses ran more rampant during the holidays with human emotions at its peak. It was annoying but what could he do? Carrying the mantle of the strongest meant lonely nights like this.
He huffs and pouts. He really wanted to see you today. Now, you’re probably cozying up to other sorcerers that didn’t have to work during new years eve. The thought makes him want to bang his head on a pole.
No no no. Its fine. You were probably with Nanami! Wait. Thats not good. Maybe with Suguru? Thats not any better!
“Gragh!” He was two seconds away from pulling hair out when his phone vibrates.
It was a text from you. He perks up immediately.
“Satoru, where are you?”
He grins wide, the monster in his chest temporarily sated.
“Im on a mission, sweets. Did ya need somethin?”
Smooth. Real smooth. Gojo’s leg shakes as he watches the three dots pop up.
“Are you fighting a curse right now?”
“No. Just hanging out by my lonesome.”
“Send me your exact location!!”
He pushes his face closer to the phone, eyes wide. Are you saying what he thinks you’re saying? His heart thrumming excitedly in his chest.
“Location Sent.”
“Hearted.”
Were you trying to spend the New Year with him? But if you were still at the school then youll never make it before the clock strikes twelve. Maybe he should just teleport to you like he originally planned or–
His phone vibrates again. “Look up.”
“Satoru!”
He whips his head. The sound of his name was swallowed by the fireworks but without a doubt it was his name.
And like he was sucker punch in the gut. He removes his blindfold and he forgets how to breathe when he sees you. Grinning from ear to ear as you fly on the back of rainbow dragon. The fireworks highlights your face against the dark sky making you look like a goddess coming down to get him.
The moment you got close enough, you jump off rainbow dragons back. And Satoru knows you don’t need anyone to catch you, but he does it anyway.
Arms wide open as you land safely into his embrace in a fit of giggles. Your hair flying in the air. He holds your body tightly against his. Savoring every second.
You pull away slightly to gaze down at him, a teasing grin dancing on your lips, “You didn’t think Id let you spend New years eve alone, did you?”
He grins back, “Didn’t doubt ya for a second, sweets.”
Fireworks erupted behind you, and Gojo swears you look like you were made of light and magic as the luminescent colours dances around your hair, but the bright sparkle in your eyes were your from your own light and it was brighter than any firework he has ever seen.
“Pretty.” You mumble under your breath as you admired the flashing lights.
“Beautiful, really.” He says quietly. You heard him though and the both of you know that he wasn’t talking about the fireworks.
You try to brush off his comment with a roll of your eyes, but the blush on your cheeks gives you away. You cough lamely and wriggle your feet so he’d put you down.
“Anyways, only a minute til midnight.” You note as he places you down on your feet.
And Gojo tries his best not make it so pathetically obvious how happy he was that you were here with him. He doubts he was doing a good job at it.
The both of you stood side by side as you count down the seconds. Unspoken truths and tightly held feelings pouring out the both of you.
16 seconds.
“By the way, Im glad I found you in time.” You say softly.
10 seconds.
“Were you that lonely without me?” Satoru muses.
“Yes..”
His eyes widen at your admission.
5 seconds.
“Who else was I going to kiss at midnight?”
He holds his breath, “What-“
1 second.
And you drag him down by the collar, crashing your lips into his. For a second it was quiet. The world fading into the background and it was just you and him on this rooftop. The kiss was soft yet passionate as you try to pour everything you couldn’t say. He kisses you back once the shock wore off. His hands cupping your face, tilting your head to kiss you even deeper, a groan escaping his lips.
God, he’s been wanting to do this since the day you entered his life.
Once you pull away, Satoru whispers, “This isn’t a dream right?”
You laugh, chest tightening at the awe in his voice, “No, this isn’t a dream.”
He exhales, leaning his forehead on yours,“Thank God.”
Pecking his lips once more, you say “Happy New Year, Toru.”
࣪ ִֶָ☾. 3 times where you almost kissed Suguru and one time you finally do.
“Suguru, give it back!"
He merely laughs at your attempts to grab your stolen can of soda from his raised hand. You jump around him trying to grab it, but he was two heads taller than you. “You’re gonna have to try harder than that.”
He waves it in front of your face, you jump to grab it but he whips his hands up right way. His warm laughter echoes in your ear, making your stomach flip.
“Suguru, I swear-” You placed your hands on his shoulder to gain some ground before jumping as high as you could. “Aha!”
It caught Suguru off guard so you managed to snagged the can from him. A victorious grin curves on your lips, “In your face, Suguru!”
It took a second before you realize that you really were in his face. Your arm not holding the can was around his shoulders, and his arms were around your waist, keeping you above ground and flushed against him.
You blink, blood rushing to your cheeks. Suguru stares back at you, unashamedly, with a strange look in his eyes.
“I guess you win.” His voice soft, almost a whisper. You were close enough that you could his breath against your face.
“I guess I do.” His eyes dropped to your lips as you answered. You feel him lean in then, your heart pounding, knees like jelly. You always liked him and you had an inkling that maybe he liked you back, but you didn’t want to put so much hope it just in case it was all in your head.
And now finally, Suguru was gonna kiss you. Your eyes flutter shut as you wait for the press of his lips.
“Oii! Suguru! Y/n! Whats taking you so long?”
At the sound of Satoru’s voice, the both of you broke away from each other immediately. Suguru nearly dropping you. Of all the freaking days. God, You hated Gojo sometimes.
You internally sigh. Next time.
——————————————-
“You don’t have to walk me to my dorm room, Suguru.” You point out.
The hallway was quiet, only the sound of your light footsteps echoing in the dark. Your hands brushing against each other as you walk, sending tingles up your arm
Suguru hums, a teasing smile on his lips, “Why? Sick of me already?”
“You know that’s not what I meant.” You say, rolling your eyes fondly.
“I didn’t want to say goodbye just yet.”
You felt your heart skip.
This guy. You huff a breath, smiling softly and grabbed his hand, surprising both you and him, and if he noticed the blush on your cheeks then he didn’t say a word. “Then we better walk slowly.”
So you do. He’d give your hands a few light squeezes every now and then while rubbing his thumb on the back of your hand. The walk to your room taking twice as long than it usually would. And if you could, you’d go round and round again just to feel the warmth of his hand in yours a little longer. But alas all good things must come to an end eventually.
“Well, this is me.” You try to hide the disappointment in your voice, but failing miserably. Though it helps that Suguru looked equally dismayed. You stare at your joined hands, not wanting to let go. You had half the mind to invite him in, but no that would be crazy. Too forward of you, for sure.
He utters your name, in that sweet and endearing way he always does, like your name was something precious and it never fails to make your heart stutter.
“Yes?”
His amethyst eyes gazed into yours, searching for something. You tilted your head expectantly. After a moment, he shakes his head, smiling softly. “Its nothing.”
Strange, but you didn’t press him. “Oh, okay.”
You drop his hand and you immediately missed his warmth, but before either of you could dwell on it, you stepped on your toes and pressed a soft kiss on his cheek.
“Thanks for walking me back.” You whisper as you pulled back.
His lightly surprised expression made you giggle a bit. He chuckles to himself, “You’re full of surprises tonight.”
You laugh as you open your door, almost halfway in before turning back to him. “Good night, Sugu.”
And then he gives you that look again, all amused with soft affection. “Good night, pretty.”
Closing the door, you slid down it all giddy and blushing.
Maybe, you should’ve kissed him this time. It would have been perfect, no noisy friends around to disrupt anything.
Its okay. You have time. Next time.
————————————————————————
“So you and Shoko are being sent overseas, huh?”
You look up from your place on the floor, zipping up your travel bag. Suguru's tall frame and easy smile meets your gaze. He was too pretty and somehow you heart always gets away from you at his presence.
“Yep, just for a couple days though.” You say, standing up, playing cool. “I heard you and Satoru are being sent on a high priority mission.”
He shrugs before grabbing your bag and slinging it over his shoulder, “Were just gonna be escorting some middle school girl.”
“You make it sound so boring.” You say, as you start walking out the dorms and to the car driving you to the airport with Shoko.
“Just frustrating.”
“Frustrating? why?”
Suguru opens his mouth to say something, before closing it again. “Hearing Satoru yap all the time can be frustrating.”
You had a feeling that wasn’t what he wanted to say. The both of you stop in front of the car, “Suguru, if you want to talk about something. You know I’m here, right?”
“I know you are, pretty.” He stares at you intently then, eyes raking over your face as if committing it to memory. The curve of your cheeks, your bright and concerned eyes, the plump of your lips. You feel him tracing over it all.
All of a sudden, he reaches his arm out to pull you to his chest, arms wrapping protectively around your frame as he rests his head on top of yours. His warmth envelops you entire body, as your hand on his chest clutches his shirt.
“Be safe.” He whispers before pressing a reverent kiss on your temple.
For some reason you felt sad. You were only going to be gone a couple of days, a week max so why did you feel like you weren’t gonna see him for a very long time? You brush it off as the delusions of being in love.
Pulling away, you trace his shoulders before cupping his face, smiling gently as you tried to push down the strange sadness you were feeling. “I will. You should too. I know you and Satoru are the strongest, but you shouldn’t let your guard down.”
He nods, intertwining one hand over yours.
Then he looks at you, like really looks at you. In the way everyone wants to be looked at. The kind of look that you wouldn’t forget even on your deathbed, seared into your memory forever. Glittering amethyst eyes gaze back at you with something akin to devotion and you almost forget how to breath. An emotional lump in your throat.
“Y/n, I—”
You press a finger to his lips, a small smile on yours, “Tell me when I’m not leaving. "
He huffs a breath, smiling before kissing your finger. He pulls it down and pull you closer again, leaning his forehead against yours, “Later.”
Grinning, you echo, “Later.”
Next time you see him, things will be different.
Except later never came, and the next time you saw him, you didn’t realize just how different it would be.
—————————————
“I told you not to come.” Satoru sighs.
“Then you shouldn't have called me.”
You brush past Satoru, as your eyes finally land on the man who held your heart even when he left it in tatters a few years ago. Honestly, it felt like another lifetime ago. You kneel in front of him, scanning over the worst of his injuries and pursed your lips when you realized.
"Im a lost cause, pretty.” And the soft way he says your old nickname as if time didn’t passed between you two, it tears you apart.
“I dreamt about you, you know.” He whispers.
Your eyes drop and the next time you look at him, your eyes were filled with unshed tears. Using your sleeve, you wipe a some blood off his cheeks before cupping them with the same hand and he leans into your touch like it was a second sense.
“Don’t waste your tears on me. I don't deserve them.”
The tears fall freely then, breath shaky as your hand drops to the ground, “Why did you have to leave?”
He raises an arm to wipe your tears, “To keep you safe.”
Even in his last moments. Suguru still kept strong in his beliefs.
“I didn’t need your protection. I needed you.” You argue.
Suguru smiles sadly, leaning his head back against the wall considering your words. After a moment, he speaks, “Do you remember the last time we talked?”
Of course you did, it was the last time you were in his arms. For one single moment you almost had it all only for it to be ripped away from you. “Yes.”
“That’s my only regret in this life, “ His words soft, eyes reminiscing another time, another life where things were easier, “That I never got tell you. I let every chance pass me by thinking we had time.”
You bite your lip to stop them from trembling, “Don’t tell me. Not now that you’re leaving.”
It would destroy you, you know that. All these years of never knowing, all those unsaid words and almost kisses. It made it easier to pretend that he didn’t mean anything to you. That with all the horrible things he’s done, it wasn’t still his eyes you dreamt about at night.
“I love you.”
Your eyes squeeze shut as fresh tears fell down you cheeks. No regrets this time.
Grabbing his robe, you lean up and press a soft kiss to his lips, pouring everything into it. You sadness, your regret, your love. And when you pull back, you’re transported back into time as you stared at the same amethyst eyes you loved all those years ago, before the light left it and darkness took over.
“I knew I should’ve kissed you all those times,” He gives a small chuckle, lips curved in that warm smile that still made your stomach flip.
The dam in you breaks as you give in and sob into his chest, his blood getting all over you.
“Satoru, keep her safe for me.”
Satoru nods, his fist trembling quietly at his sides.
Suguru's chest shakes as he coughs out a little blood, so he gestures for Satoru.
In a second , Satoru’s arms wrapped around you waist removing you from Suguru.
“No, no, not yet—”
“Its okay, pretty.”
“No! I’m not ready to say goodbye yet!” You wail in anguish as Satoru held you back.
No. Not yet.
You need more.
One more minute. One more second.
One more round down the hallway.
You try to push back Satoru but he was too strong. In the end you collapse into his arms, all the fight in you gone.
“I love you Suguru, it was true then and its still true now.” You whisper weakly.
Suguru's eyes widen a fraction, as if he wasn’t expecting you to say it back. He gives a chuckle again, a small smile dancing on his lips “At least curse me in the end.”
Satoru spins you around then, and you vaguely hear the sound of him using his CT and the quiet sound of a slice.

"My advice is always answer the question. Better than to ask it all your life."
The sight in front of you pulls at your heartstrings. Your feet stuck by the doorway to the living room as you watch you're usually grumpy boyfriend play with his 5 year old nephew. Sukuna was trying teach Yuji how to play Mario kart and the adorable kid hangs on to Sukuna's every word like it was the gospel.
Your boyfriend can pretend to be annoyed at the kid sitting between his thighs, but you knew him well enought to see the slight softening of his eyes and the small smile he tries to mask.
"Like this?" Yuji asks as he swerves together with the controller, almost falling sideways if not for Sukunas thigh holding him steady.
"Exactly like that, brat."
Yuji beams at his uncle's high praise. The moment a gold trophy and 3 stars popped up on the TV screen, Yuji jumps enthusiastically in the air, throwing the controller to the ground and tackling Sukuna. The older man barely affected by the impact. "Uncle Kuna! Look! I won! I won! Yuji won first place!"
"Yeah, yeah. You did good, kid." Sukuna ruffled Yuji's hair affectionately, no longer able to hide the fond smile on his face.
"Another round!"
You chuckle to yourself. They were so adorable. They looked so similar too, to the point that Yuji would sometimes be mistaken to be yours and Sukuna's kid when you take him out or babysit him for Jin.
Older ladies would coo at how cute your kid is and Sukuna never corrects them, he just grunts. Not that you were any better. Giving them a smile and a small thanks.
Maybe you were at that age? You never thought much about kids. Every guy you dated before never elicited such thoughts from you. Yet Sukuna, grumpy and possesive Sukuna. A kid with his hair and your smile. That would be nice.
A hands lands on your shoulder, stealing your attention. Jins smiling face comes into view. "By the way, do you know what you want for Christmas? I know its two months away, but Yuji is really excited to buy the both of you the perfect gifts. Anything on your wishlist?"
"What I want?" You hum thoughtfully, eyes landing back to Sukuna and Yuji again. Yuji trying to climb on Sukuna's shoulders. A soft smile curves on your lips. "..its nothing big."
Jin perks up, "Oh? What is it?"
Snapping out of it, you smile awkwardly at Jin before squeezing his arm, "Ill get back to you on that."
"Of course, take your time."
You decided to join Yuji and Sukuna on the couch. The small boy immediately jumping into your arms as you plop down the sofa.
"Oi, be careful you brat. You're heavy." Sukuna reprimands.
Yuji apologizes with his big eyes and chubby cheeks that you couldnt help but coo. "Its okay baby, I may not look it ,but Im strong too."
Satisfied, Yuji procceds to babble about his hard earned victory in Mario Kart. You sing him praises of course. Sukuna merely obeserves the two of you.
"Yuji! Time to wash up before dinner." Jin calls. Yuji perks up at the prospect of food and runs to his dad.
You sigh dreamily, "He's so cute."
Sukuna's big arms wrapped around your waist and pulls you to his lap. The grumpy face you're met with makes you laugh. "You're cute too, Kuna."
He merely mumbles something underneath his breath before nuzzling his nose at the curve of your neck, pulling you closer. His breath tickles making you giggle a little.
Pulling a way a bit to trace his face, your fingers lovingly mapping out his every feature. His eyes simply gazing back at yours. You cup his face between your hands, "I want our kids to look like you."
He snorts, "Hell no."
You heart drops, "Why not?"
Sukuna leans back at the sofa, taking you with him. Your head now on his broad chest. His hand squeezes your thigh. "I want them to look like you."
Oh. You could hear his heart speed up a bit at his admission. Your smile returns as you push up from his chest. "Awwe, really?"
"Whatever. Its no big deal."
It was though. He never even thought twice about his answer. Thats how sure he was about you. About what you have together. The idea of having kids with you didn't freak him out like you ashamedly expected him to and it makes you feel absolutely giddy.
"Are you embarrassed, Kuna?"
And surely enough, his ears are a bit red. It makes you giggle. You lean upwards to give him a small peck, carmine eyes softening at the edges as he stares back at you. Hard exterior always melting at your touch, "Our kids, huh?"
"A whole block of them." You tease.
He huffs, pulling you back to his chest. You didn't think he was gonna say anything more but you hear him grumble out one last thing. "Anything you want."
AN: Feels a bit ooc Sukuna to me. So sleepy writing this so I need feeback haha
Morpheus x reader. Down bad Morpheus. fluffy fluff. Bit insecure reader.
Sometimes dating an otherworldly being can be a bit overwhelming.
an: part of my series of short and sweet snippets of your life with the dream lord
For as long as you've been seeing the Dream lord, you have wanted for nothing. Morpheus was attentive and considerate. More affectionate that one would expect. It was a surprise to everyone who knew him.
Lord Shaper wasn't exactly known for his warm and sunny disposition. His history with his past lovers didn't paint a pretty picture either.
It wasn't until you came into his endless life where something changed. You brought something out of him, a hidden side that even he didn't know existed.
In the beginning of your budding relationship, you weren't aware of the power you held over him. Still quite intimidated of his station and power. Especially when you were just a mere human who caught the eye and heart of such a powerful being.
At that time, you believed you couldn't treat him like a normal boyfriend. Not exactly sure how to treat someone you believed to be beyond you're league, completely out of your depth. But there were normal things, mundane things that you wanted. Things that you thought were below or irrelevant to him.
You wanted affection. Sure, you've kissed, you hold hands all the time, he's whispered words of love and assurances in your ear. Always so respectful and such a gentleman.
But you wanted more, you wanted to know how far you could take it, what boundaries were you allowed to cross? Were you allowed to separate the God and the man who has stolen you're heart? How much could you act on your childish wants and needs?
Say you wanted to surprise him with a back hug or tackle him to ground, would he welcome your touch? or would he freeze and reprimand you for such public displays. If you suddenly felt the urge to shower him with kisses all over his face, would he lean into them or push you away? Could you kiss him in front of his subjects? or was he more of the old fashion type to kiss behind closed doors.
You sigh loudly before plopping down on the fluffy daybed he made for you. All warm and soft and strategically place in front of a window in his chambers.
"If you sigh any louder, the entire dreaming will hear you."
Hearing his deep and raspy voice jolts you back up the bed, you're heart pounding from his sudden appearance, laughing awkwardly, "Morpheus! I didn't notice you were standing there."
"Apologies, It wasn't my intention to scare you," He makes his way to you from his place on the doorway, black coat a river of darkness behind him and sits beside you. a thumb reaches out to smoothen the crease that had unknowingly formed on your forehead, "Though I would like to know what you were thinking so deeply about, I could feel you're anxiousness from the library."
Of course he did. The disadvantages of having an Endless for a boyfriend. You try to
give him a reassuring smile, "Its nothing. Just normal human stuff. Its no big deal."
That wasn't technically a lie.
"You're terrible at lying." And he sees right through you. "Tell me, what's wrong?"
You look down at your fidgeting hands. You didn't know how to tell him without sounding like a needy and clingy girlfriend? Boys hated that, and Endless or not, he was still somewhat a man.
After a moment, he sighs and you hear him shift and to your surprise he drops down on one knee in front of you, pinching your chin to meet his yes.
It took a second for you to process the picture in front of you. The Dream Lord was on his knees for you. His gaze filled with concern and a tinge of warmth. Panicked, you clasp the hand holding your chin, "My Lord– No! You should get up."
Dream shakes his head, "No, not until you talk to me."
Dream has long learned that his pride and selfishness has only earned him eons of pain and suffering. It was still work in progress, yes, but he wasn't about to let it get in the way of your joy and happiness.
It was your turn to shake your head, "Its ridiculous."
"If it bothers you this much then I'm sure it is not." His hands move to cup your cheeks now, softly caressing it with his thumb. Another affectionate gesture that often makes you dizzy. You lean into his palm, worried eyes finally meeting his, "I just– I don't know how to act around you."
He tilts his head in a way that you found so adorable that the urge to tackle him in kisses resurfaces. "Please elaborate."
Gathering your wits about, you sit up properly, taking deep breaths, dropping his hand on your lap. "We're in a relationship right?"
Closing your eyes, you groan at that horrible start. Ugh, he probably thought you were stupid. Yet you saw nothing but patience on his face when you opened your eyes again.
"That's correct."
Clearing your throat to get rid of some of the awkwardness your feeling, "..I just want to know of any boundaries I can or can't cross. I– I don't want you to feel uncomfortable."
Dream wanted to chime in and say that he should be the one saying those things, and that your comfort was his utmost priority, but the restless look on your face makes him decide against it. "Okay."
"Okay.. Lets say I arrive at the dreaming and I know its impossible for you not to see me coming, but hypothetically If I decide to surprise you by running and hugging your back really enthusiastically, would you allow it..?"
Morpheus' eyebrows raised just a fraction. He didn't know what he was expecting, but it wasn't this. Was he really such a failure as a lover for you to question such things? That you needed permission to shower him in your affections? He balls his fist, angry at himself.
Squeezing the hands on your lap in what he hopes to be a comforting manner, he looks at you so intensely it almost swallows you whole, "Allow it? Id welcome it."
"Really?" And the disbelief in you're voice only frustrates him more. "Yes."
"What if I suddenly wanted to tackle you the ground and shower you with kisses?"
A smile tugs on his lips then, voice softer as he speaks, "Then we'll both be on the floor."
"But what if you were in the middle of work on your desk and I really wanted some cuddles and—"
"Then you sit on my lap as I work, I believe it would be less tedious with your company."
"But Dream–" He shushes you with a finger to your lips, standing up and pulls you up with him by your hands. He kisses your knuckles before resting his hands on your waist. "My love, listen to me."
So you do, "You can do everything your heart desires, you don't need to hold back. I am yours and as much as you are mine. You are free to do whatever you want to do with me. I want every bit of your love and affection. It saddens me greatly that you believed you needed to ask permission for something that is your right."
Your eyes dart down. Insecurities still prickling your skin, "Its just that your the Dream Lord, The Sandman and I'm just.."
"–My future Queen, the light of my life."
Your eyes find his, and your heart squeezes in that stupidly in love way that it creates a lump in your throat. His eyes shines like stars with so much sincerity and love that your feel it run through your veins, setting you alight.
He presses his forehead against yours, and in the quiet of his chambers, it feels like time stopped for just the two of you, "And to you, I'm a simply Morpheus, an imperfect being who's heart belongs to you. If you'll have me."

an; another ooc Morpheus cause he is truly in love with you.
Suguru Geto x reader. yearner Suguru. fluff. idiots in love. drunk reader.
Turns out being drunk around the best friend you've been in love with since forever has its ups and downs.
Suguru likes sleeping, it was a break from all the noise and horrors of the world. Peace from the missions, the curses, and from Satoru's incessant talking.
Yet, a call from you was all it takes for Suguru to grab his keys and race down the street to pick you up. Hearing your voice all giggly and drunk as you said his name was enough have him bolting out the door.
You don't usually drink, but you were having a girls night out with Shoko and Utahime, and drinking with them was unavoidable.
After parking, he almost runs to the bar before spotting the three of you at the entrance. You were crouching on the ground with your arms around your knees and a pout on your face. While Shoko was holding a passed out Utahime up.
Upon seeing Suguru, you're face instantly lights up, "Suguru!"
Jumping up to meet him halfway and stumbling over your feet. You would've fallen flat on you're face if it weren't for him catching you in his arms. "Woah there."
You grin up lazily at him, all red cheeks and dazy eyes, "Hey, Sugu."
Suguru sighs, exasperated yet he still finds your drunk face adorable. "Hey there, pretty."
He props you up by the waist to help you stand properly, arms fastened tightly on your hips to keep you from falling or so he wants to believe. You snuggle into his chest, wrapping your arms around him.
"You guys need a ride?" He asks Shoko.
Shoko shakes her head, "We're good, Im not drunk so I can drive Utahime home. I was just waiting for you because y/n house is on the opposite direction."
"Okay, drive safe." He says, after deeming Shoko sober enough. Shoko gives him a knowing look before dragging Utahime to ber car.
You give Shoko and Utahime a very enthusiastic goodbye.
"Come on, lets get your drunkass home." He turns you to the direction of his car.
You scoff, stepping a way from him, "Im not dru-"
On cue, you trip over an uneven sidewalk. You whip your head to Suguru trying to hold back his laughter. "Okay, maybe just a little.. Stop laughing!"
"I'm not!"
"You are!"
The both of you make your way to the car. You walk under the streetlights with your arms shot out to the sides as you balance yourself at the edge of the sidewalk. Suguru quickly following behind in case you fall.
The usually busy street was quiet, the only sound was you humming a song you heard at the bar.
You look back and catch him watching you.
You blink before a smile takes over your face. The kind of smile that makes Suguru's breath hitch and chest tighten in the most stupid way, reminding him why he was here at 3am in the first place. A feat even Satoru couldn't achieve no matter how much he begged and cried for Suguru to pick him up somewhere.
Suguru shouldn't be surpised though. He found out a long time ago that he wasn't capable of saying no to you.
Right in front of his car, you stop and turn to him, giving him a tipsy grin. The cold air only made your cheeks and nose rosier. Your hair a mess and a bit of mascara beneath your droopy eyes. Lipstick long gone.
You were absolutely stunning. A fact that always catches him off guard.
"Suguu, thanks for coming to get me." You wrap your arms around his hips again, sighing happily.
He tries to play it cool, but fails miserably as he pulls you closer to his chest. Hoping you don't hear how fast his heart beating. "You know Im here whenever you need me."
For a moment it was quiet before he hears you mumble something.
"What was that?"
You raise you head from his chest, suddenly all doe eyed and you looking like you were a minute away from crying. "I said why?"
"Why what?"
"Why are you here for me?"
He was taken back by your question, "Pretty, I don't think–"
"Tell me Sugu!" You push him away.
It was today where you discovered that drunk you was bold and stupid and words you would've never told him sober escaped your lips.
"Why? Why are you here Suguru? Why are you so nice to me? You've always treated me differently. You flirt with me, and I think you like me? But you never do anything about it–" You voice pleading and desperate.
"–And it makes me think maybe Im just making it all up in my head and maybe you're like that with everyone and I hate how much I hate the thought of you treating someone else the way you treat me and–"
"Y/n!" Suguru grabs you gently by the arms, pulling you back from your spiral.
He leans down and his hands cup your face as he stares intently into your eyes, "Listen, baby.. Its not all in your head so please don't cry anymore."
You didn't even realize you were crying. Suguru's thumbs wiping away your tears. He hates that he made you cry. You must've been bottling up your feelings all this time. He was too busy feeling sorry about his own to even notice.
"Its not all in my head?" You squeak out and it breaks his heart.
"No, pretty, it isn't. I promise you that. And we'll talk all about it tomorrow when your not drunk and can actully remember our conversation, okay?"
You sniffle, nodding as you bite your bottom lip. An action that Suguru didn't miss. Unconsciously, he pulls it your lip from your teeth with his thumb then tracing it almost reverently. "You'll bleed."
He's wanted to do that for a long time.
"Kiss me, Suguru."
His eyes snap to yours. He thought he would only ever hear those words in his dreams.
God, he wanted to. He really really wanted to. To kiss you senseless that your forget your own name and if he didn't have any morals, he would have. But he cared about you too much to ever be selfish with you.
So he sighs, "Lets get you home."
You visibly flinch away from his touch, hurt written all over your face, wrapping your arms around yourself.
He was just lying to you. Trying to console you so you don't make an even larger scene. Only to reject you when your sober tomorrow. Great, just great. A hangover and a brokenheart tomorrow. Big fun.
Turning away, you start to open the passenger door when Suguru pulls you back, "Pretty, no– its not what you think."
"Just tell me you don't t want to kiss me, Geto. No need to lie to make me think otherwise." You did your best to sound nonchalant but your pretty sure your glassy eyes gave you away. Gosh, you hated being drunk.
"Geto? Im not-" He sighs, running a frustrated hand through his raven hair. How was he so bad at this? He was floundering like Satoru.
Taking in a breath, he pulls you closer by the waist and speaks before you could push him away again. "I wanna kiss you."
You stop breathing. He traces a hand from your neck to your cheek, thumb once again pressing against your bottom lip.
"You have no idea how much. Im hanging on a thread here, pretty." He squeezes your hips, voice strained.
"Then–"
"But I don't want the first time I kiss you be something your forget the day after."
Pressing his forehead against yours, he whispers almost huskily, "I want you to remember every second. Every touch, every breath, every moan and whimper I get out of you."
Your heart is pounding in your ears as you inhale shakily. Your knees felt like jelly, even more so now than earlier. And your sure all your blood has rushed to your face.
Suguru pulls away and tilts your head up to look at him. A soft and teasing smile tugging on his lips, "Ask me again tomorrow. I'll do anything you want."
Not trusting your voice, you simply nod.
Chuckling, he asks, "Where did all that feistiness go? Use your words, pretty."
You look away, pouting, "Okay."
He tilts his head to find your gaze, "Okay?"
"Okay, Suguru."
A satisfied smile curves on his face, "Good girl."

Bonus:
A few minutes in the ride home, Suguru notices you were calming down and slowly falling asleep.
He chuckles to himself. This wasn't how he expected it to go tonight.
"What?" You yawn. Pretty eyes almost fluttering shut.
"Nothing. I was just thinking that if you call me Geto again, Im pulling you over my lap."
Suddenly, you were wide awake, grinning cheekily. "Geto!"
Ooo Hii if it’s okay, can I please request Morpheus x fem!reader fic where she’s half dream half human and Morpheus finds her when he is gathering back all the dreams and nightmares who left when he was imprisoned and when he finds out one of his dreams had a daughter with a human when he was gone, he goes to look for her too because she is one of his dreams (even though he technically didn’t create her) and belongs in the Dreaming. She happens to be a Kindergarten teacher and is hesitant to leave her human life behind, but Dream promises that she can continue being a teacher but to the children of Dreams/Nightmares in the Dreaming! He spends a lot of time helping her adjust to living there and they fall in love (they’re soulmates!)🥹
