Guys why am I starting to see "save tmnt 2012" comments under Tiktoks about Tales 😭 I can understand Save Rottmnt to a degree but SAVE 2012?? WHAT.

The Key Difference is that 2012 ran ALL their the intended arcs

They got their rat king arc, the space arc, the main vs shredder storyline, the crossover with 87, crossover with usagi, etc

Rise instead has MANY ARCS planned and episodes that got left hard paused:

The turtle tots episode, the rat king arc, Renet, the wedding crashers episode, the musical episode, the Christmas special, the second Donnie and April tag team episode, the Leo and Draxum episode, the brains and brawn episode, the Kraang lore, the hidden city in Japan, the lost siblings arc, the characters’ development, the crossover with usagi/samurai rabbit , the giant triceratons, etc.

Thing is… Rise fans DO have very good reasons to fight for their show, but are calling for BOTH Tales of the tmnt and Rise to coexist, or are willing to compromise for a Rise comic book continuation while supporting Tales for more seasons 💚

Which is waaaay healthier than what the 2012 fandom ever did, who instead went and bullied, belittled, review-bombed, and insulted the newer iteration despite having their arcs done and over with as the creators intended them to be

I can understand missing an old iteration, like I do with 2003, but I’m not out there crying to get it back because I know it ran its intended course (and even suffered seasonal rot), same thing with 2012. It ran its course and that was it.

Rise instead got paused, and Tales is also under fire by the older fans, mainly 87, mirage and 2012 😩

Even now several of them 2012 are out there shitting on Tales as well 😣😣😣 It’s like they’re the cowaboomers 2.0

I think a lot of people who are complaining about the lack of content in Paralives are forgetting just how fucking bare bones the sims 4 was at launch.

Game has many bugs still, I get it, but I remind that it is a small indie studio that is working on Paralives, and yet it listened to players more than the -mind you- triple A studio did with sims 4 since 2014.

The triple A and lazy studio who decided it was 'smart' to rehuse base game models and pass them as new content like some shady snake oil vendor, and slapped boorish microtransactions on the game

Edit: well… seems like now they want to add ads to the sims 4 game. As if people hadn’t spent 1000+ cash on the broken ahh game

Hoooly sh*t, everyone!

F*ck the Sims 4 bugged ahh play and their lazy money scam schemes, Paralives is just an Early Access, made by a very small team of devlopers for now, and yet it's looking WAAAAY better and with actual soul and love in it. The character creator and the build mode are so fine! I haven't had fun like this playing a Sim game in a long, long time! (it takes me back to Sims 3, but with so many good additional and customizable options!!!) I genuinely can't wait for the upcoming updates and fixes, because it's like playing Sims when it was an ACTUALLY a good game, but better!

I strongly suggest playing it! (I'm attempting to create a SubMas household atm) But remember to be patient with the team and let them cook at their own pace, because if you just let them cook, players will be feasting!

I dont usually like to complain about THAT side of the fandom, but as far as close personal experiences go in these latest years as a tmnt fan...
