AU: Amnesia

There's a separate au verse where Yuuta wasnt killed, and instead after washing along a smaller lesser known village in the land of fire, lost his memory. He was badly injured and assisted until he could be on his own again, but still without an idea of who or what he was.

Yuuta had a particularly peculiar way of speaking- he was originally from the land of wind in a clan that specialized in wind style jutsu. This clan was known for their strange speech patterns.

Yuuta blinked once before his attention turned to the woman next to him. Tsume, his wife and soul companion. She had a look of annoyance on her face with Hana tucked in her arms protectively. "Oh." For an idiot, he got it right away. "Sorry Tsum."

Taking the baby girl from her, he held onto his daughter while she cooed happily up at him. "I was sleep seeing wasn't I? Well.. I won't with Hana here don't worry." He smiled down and waved a finger at the baby. "She's got your eyes, did you know?"

Yuuta was killed in action just after his youngest son, Kiba was born. Whether or not it was an accident on his team's part, or the enemy having greater numbers- has never been determined properly. Nor was his body ever recovered- it was reportedly washed away in the near by river that was flooded after a bad rain season.
