I find it hard to believe that zuko and katara wouldn’t have had each other occupying their minds after the last agni kai. He took lightning for her. They both reached out for each other. She healed him. It wasn’t just about the fire nation prince and the avatar. Katara was the constant one. The world wouldn’t have the avatar without katara, he wouldn’t have survived without katara. The fire nation prince wouldn’t have survived without katara. It was change. It was water. It was katara.

So ehm....Guys....I know we all agree to not get our hopes too high because it was clear ship bait...But I'm having serious doubts.

I saw a tiktok with text saying something like “in a world of zutara shippers…” then they insert what a.ang said about choosing katara over cosmic energy. Basically meaning that they ship [email protected]

And I was like GIRL THAT IS THE FREAKING POINT. You go ship who you wanna ship. Idk why they always have to bring up zutara.

I wanna bring up something here that’s unrelated to the tiktok I just mentioned but that tiktok reminded me of this so wth. I saw someone comment once that a lot of them [KA fans] seem to like it more that KA is canon than the actual ship itself. To me, they sort of had a good point. I’m not saying that that’s the ultimate point, but they still bring up a good point.

I think KA being canon sort of enables them more to seek the higher moral ground in every situation. I think that’s why a lot of their arguments against zutara boils down to “they’re not canon”.

Look, I don’t really wanna talk about the other side of the shipping war because I just wanna have fun in our zutara space but that comment kinda stuck with me. Blame me if I’m too slow to realize all this but yeah 🤷‍♀️

As a zutara fan, recently my favorite thing is fellow ZKs poking fun at the antis whining about zutara ever since NATLA season 2 dropped. I cackle every time I see any meme of how antis would react if ZK would actually happen in NATLA. I’ve also been seeing a lot of comments like “OMG what if k.ataang is the ship bait this time and maybe they’ve been planning for zutara to happen all along”. Look, the way ZKs were leaving this type of comment wasn’t even on a funny note…but still to me it made me giggle a little 😅 Could you imagine that actually happening? Imagine if that’s actually the marketing strategy being used? The dichotomy of the uproar that would happen between antis and ZKs would be INSANE. See, this is why I love getting new zutara media. The ZK fandom never disappoints 🤭

Also I’m not looking down on any ZK yearning for that NATLA zutara end game…I love that, we are allowed to want that:)

I’m sorry but I just can’t stop thinking about this. This song is making me yearn for the zutara ending to happen and if you know me, I don’t dwell on that much. It’s just such a beautiful song and I keep imagining zutara moments in my head as it plays for NATLA season 3.
