Peace, books and good vibes.
Now that Iām reformed and have found someone who is so purely good to me, I agree with this now more than ever. Spoiler alert: the mean ones will continue to be mean to you.
I am now posting sad quotes like a 13 year old .I am not going to apologise. It speaks to me, I post it. I see it, I like it, I want it,I got it

āNot only are we trapped in our bodies, drowning in gravity, but weāre stuck in our time, too. Down here, in these years in which we live.ā

Value of self confidence
ADHD symptoms are hard enough.. but how much of our difficulty might be caused by low self esteem? For myself, I feel its probably 10-20%.
ADHD can make it hard to do things.. cooking, sleeping, socializing, trying ANYTHING.. and that causes us to fail CONSTANTLY.
There is a concept calledĀ āLearned Helplessnessā where after facing REPEATED painful stimuli (in our case, failing or RSD), you kinda just accept it. You just accept that youāve lost control and stop trying to change it.
You often see it in people suffering from mental health problems. After a few years, you just kinda give up and accept that you will be like this forever.
So what does that do? Well, on top of the problems from ADHD, you become less likely to try things because you feel like you will fail. So no, not only is your executive dysfunction holding you back, so if you self esteem.
Thereās no advice at the end like I usually do. Itās still something Iām trying to actively figure out myself. I just wanted to people to be conscious of the fact that a noninsignificant part of what might be holding us back is ourselves.
