Follow The Music || Skyler & Vana
"Hey! I got to pay, that was the deal!" Skyler exclaimed with a grin. She let it slide though without much argument though, figuring she could stubbornly repay her later. Skyler watched a little impressed at how confident and comfortable the girl seemed to be with lying about her age. She would probably completely stumble over her words and make a complete fool of herself out of nerves.
"Do you do this a lot?" She asked, her eyes widening, "Donāt youāre parents keep tabs on you?" She blurted out, before realizing that wasnāt probably appropriate. "Sorry, that was a really personal question. Forget I even asked." She listened to Nirvana, or Vana, introduce herself with a slight smile. The name suited her. "Nirvanaās a pretty name. Plus you could think of it as referencing the Buddhist belief set, despite what your parents say to the contrary." She said, before introducing herself. "Oh, Iām Skyler - itās nice to officially meet you, Vana."Ā
"Shhh..." Vana said with a laugh taking her drink from the bar tender and walking away from the crowded bar. She really hated crowds, obviously, Vana didn't show it. She was way to cocky for that, but if she had to chose, she'd rather bring her own booze and it'd taste a whole lot better then the stuff she got at the shitty concert venue."Do what? Go to bars? Well, I never do that. I can't stand being around a bunch of drunk girls and guys who just want to get lad." She said taking another sip of her drink "But, concerts are a different story, I always go to them, music is like my thing." She said grinning.
"I guess I could say that." Vana said with a shrug referring to her name "But, this generation has no idea what Buddhism is, they barely even know which way is up and which way is down, so my name is automatically associated with the stoner band, who I was named after." She laughed lightly taking another sip from her drink "Skyler, that's a pretty name."
