This is the story of two brothers. The youngest one claiming to be the last Dragon Rider of Alagaesia. The eldest brother suffered at the hands of his father as well as King Galbatorix, then becoming a slave, a victim, to do his dirty work. Mind not the soldiers under Galbatorix’s rule one says for I am an old, crotchety man with nothing to lose, now shall I continue my story? Very well. These two boy’s names were Eragon, my son, and Murtagh son of Morzan. Like night and day did they disagree with each other. 

Traveling to the Varden in hopes of being sheltered by Ajihad, the Leader. It was said when Murtagh son of Morzan showed his face there, he was then taken to jail. Now, a man can say that pettiness is within everyone for the boy had nothing to do with his father’s sins. A boy should not be judged at what his parents did in the past, each child is their own self. As Eragon found out, he felt for the other. Long journey’s had they taken and many a battles ahead. After the battle of Farthen Dur, Murtagh had fled with the Twins to Uru’baen. There did Galbatorix give Murtagh a dragon egg the color of a dying sunset. Red for the enemies blood he was then going to spill after it hatched. Eragon, he was not the last Dragon Rider anymore…
