FE3H College/University AU: Blue Lions Part 3

Ashe

“He is so gay,” says probably the entire college.

Ashe maintains a GPA of 3.0-3.3. He’s got his book smarts for sure, and very decent street smarts since he used to be a thief.

He’s apart of the horticulture club, culinary classes, and is a part of the agriculture club. This is how he gets closer with Dedue!

His thieving skills come in handy when it comes to lunch hour; he can steal something off your tray right before your very own eyes and you won’t notice it. He probably steals your small cakes that you buy for an extra $1.25.

Ashe also lives with some people who worked for his father since he was young. His father died earlier in the year and had a decent amount of political power. Since his death, those who live with him have urged him to take over his political stance, but he’s just pursuing culinary (and alchemy).

He and Caspar are b a s i c a l l y brothers; they actually have a lot of classes together, but he has to keep Caspar out of trouble most days. When he makes friends with Dedue, he had to tell Caspar about him and even seeks out advice on how to talk to him. Caspar usually suggests being honest and just talking to him about what he’s curious about or find out interests. “Hit the nail on the head,” as Caspar usually says.

This dude loves baking edibles. He prefers to bake the brownies, though. The one who eats brownies the most is Felix, despite hating sweets. He’ll eat that like it’s spicy food.

Oh, if Ashe were to be apart of a sport it would have to be archery or hockey. I don’t know why Hockey, but something tells me with the way he’s pale that he enjoys ice skating too.

Ashe is almost never late for class. Rarely he’ll oversleep, but he does get sick more commonly than most people do, I feel.

During his lunch break, he’ll go to the courtyard and feed stray cats. Caspar sometimes is there feeding them as well. One of them he’s named ‘Finley,’ due to the cats obsession with fish.

Mercedes

This q u e e n is the mother of the Blue Lions, no doubt; Probably the OG mommy of the schools lesbi—I mean, let’s be honest guys.

Did someone say lesbian? Because Mercedes needs a cute girl to have mommy vibes with probably. Maybe. It’s probably Annette.

She maintains a 3.0-3.4 GPA, and often finds herself with not much motivation to do her homework. So what does she do? She sweet talks people like Annette, Linhardt, or Ingrid into helping her with her work/studies. She rewards them by baking for them or helping them with any chores they may have in their homes or at their dorms.

Studies religion thoroughly and is a pastoral student so she can teach about the Goddess.

Even though she studies religion, she makes the most sex jokes besides Sylvain dkdkdkdl

She probably leads a religious study group every Sunday morning and Sunday evening. She also takes part in any sort of charity event. She always bakes and drags Annette into baking with her one way or another. Although Annette isn’t huge on charitable events, she still takes part to see people happy.

While she’s menacingly beautiful and soft-spoken, she can slip into this motherly voice that’s stern and it’s lowkey scary for any student to witness it.

This girl bakes the best edibles. She bakes anything sweets and happens to make candies as well. 

Whenever the Blue Lions get together, you know what she’s bringing; the good stuff. She, Ashe, and Dedue mainly make the good stuff so that they can munch on food and discuss anything remotely thought-provoking. She’s tried to offer Dimitri some but he refuses every time.

Ingrid

Honestly I love Ingrid and she just has feminist vibes so yes.

I smell a pansexual woman who says “gay rights.”

She manages a 3.5+ GPA. She’s hella hardworking, knows what she believes in, is a tomboy, loves anything protein, reads and studies a lot—what else can I say? She even tutors other students and actually gets enjoyment out of it.

She’s apart of an outside equestrian group apart from the school. That’s where she’s met some others like her. But she meets Dorothea through an LGBTQ+ group where they’re supportive of each other and share their stories, etc. she probably develops a crush on Dorothea here.

Visits Dimitri every once in a while because she feels like she’s his big sister. When she sees him at his home, she brings treats for his dog and brings him little gifts. Sometimes a little box of tea or some snacks. She also views Sylvain and Felix as brothers, too. Mainly Felix as a brother-in-law.

Whenever she, Sylvain, Dimitri and Felix are together, the four of them all know that Ingrid’s in charge of them—regardless of the fact that Sylvain is the oldest.

Lunch is her favorite hour of the day because food,,, Felix sometimes makes fun of her for it. Trust me, she doesn’t bother to try and look pretty while she eats.

When the Blue Lions get together and study, instead of eating edibles, drinking or smoking, she’s actually the one leading the study session. If anyone wants to get her off track, they either talk about food, or the music or theatre department (Dorothea).

She and Ashe get along really well and he views him as a brother as well. Often times she and him will talk about books they’ve read; they end up being study partners most of the time since the others get off track too easily.

FE3H College/University AU: Blue Lions Part 2

Here's part one

I definitely should be doing my college work

Sylvain

Sylvix vibes here we go.

Sylvain manages to keep a GPA of 3.2-3.5. Surprisingly enough, Sylvain is NOT dumb in school! While he does some "skirtchasing," he does it to keep people's attention away from Felix. While he crushes super hard on Felix, he doesn't want Felix to be overwhelmed with people coming at him should the majority of people find out. Felix absolutely hates socializing, and he respects that.

Joined the baseball team due to the sole fact that Felix simply asked him to join a club with him. He found out afterwards what the club is, but did not hesitate to join it with him if it meant being with Felix more. Sylvain's a pretty decent player, but nowhere near as good as Felix or Dimitri. He often times finds himself staring at Felix's ass if he's crouching during practice.

He helps Felix prepare for debates often, which is how Felix helps Dimitri win debates. He even goes and watches the debates just to see how the arguments play out.

Hilda is his gay best girl friend; she makes a terrible wingman, but he's Hilda's wingman for Marianne (or Edelgard depending on your ship).

Likes smoking weed with Hilda and Claude. He tries cigarettes, but found them nasty. Drinks socially, and prefers whisky and wine. He's gotten Felix to smoke weed with them. Occasionally the four of them smoke together and snack on Taco Bell at 3AM.

This dude most days is late to class. The only day he's not late for class is when Felix drags his ass to class that morning. Most people just understand that Felix and Sylvain are best friends and Sylvain needs someone to get him out of bed.

Definitely asks Felix to homecoming as "bachelors," but people slowly catch on to Sylvain's shenanigans. Oh, Felix pushes him over calling him a "fucking idiot" and decides to go.

Sometimes braids Felix's hair and keeps extra hair ties on him in case Felix breaks or loses a hair tie. Also happens to keep bobby pins on him.

Bonds with Felix's cat and the cat only likes Felix and Sylvain. Sometimes Felix will fall asleep in his dorm and he just sits there and thinks about how much Felix is like the grumpiest cat in the world. Also thinks about his sweet side being like his cat.

He gets drunk on New Years Eve with Felix and ends up kissing him. That makes Felix realize he's absolutely fucking gay and Sylvain becomes the biggest mess of a man the following day; not only by having a massive hangover, but by also remembering he and Felix kissed.

Highly favors Mercedes's baked edibles.

Dedue

Maintains a GPA of 3.5-3.7; this man is very good at learning and learns hella fast. Typically does a minimal amount of studying; rumor has it that he's got photographic memory.

Lives with Dimitri at his home and has given the excuse that he and Dimitri are cousins. In reality, they just call each other adopted brothers to one another.

Studies with Dimitri sometimes, and is great with animals. When he can, he takes care of Dimitri's dogs needs (cleaning, bathing, feeding, etc.) while Dimitri is at a game or at a debate meet.

He's probably apart of the basketball team, honestly. He's got the height for it like have you sEEN hIs heIGHT?

Is apart of the horticulture club for sure. Ashe is also apart of the horticulture club and that's how they get to learn that they both love plants. Dedue appreciates the more colorful flowers and vegetables. When the club does fundraisers, he bakes most of the baked goods to sell and it's always a hit.

When the Blue Lions get together, he sometimes will bake edibles for the group.

Probably works part-time in the library after talking with Ashe, hearing how much he likes to read.

Is very good with animals but he will never tell you that. He prefers his animal-handling stay with taking care of Dimitri’s dog.

Most people are intimidated by him and find it nerve-wracking when they have to work with him. Ashe and Dimitri both have seen him be a giant teddy bear, though. He just wants his damn flowers and to cook or bake for people.

Has an apron that Dimitri custom ordered for him that says “Kiss ‘De-Chef’.” Dedue questioned Dimitri when it was gifted to him. He thought that if he wore it when cooking with Ashe that maybe it would give him a hint that he likes him.

He probably writes amazing poetry, let be honest. You can’t just not love flowers, cooking, baking, be a gentle giant, and not be expected to write in some way.

FE3H College/University AU: Blue Lions Part 1

Side note: I have a headcanon that Lambert and Rodrigue had a side relationship going on, which applies to this a little bit,,,

Dimitri

Maintains a 3.5 GPA, is an over-achiever, and isn’t ever late to class.

He has therapy dog that’s a boy :) I imagine it’s a White Terrier who kind of has the same personality as him.

He’s apart of the debate team with Felix; is considered the best on the debate team, rivaling with Edelgard’s team.

plays on the baseball team with Sylvain and Felix (more on that in Felix and Sylvain’s portions). Every time he goes to bat, though, he ends up either hitting it out of the park or he breaks a bat somehow. He’s the reason they have to keep buying extra bats. 💀

He commutes from his home and Lambert is/was a well-known big time politician, but Dima inherits it. His uncle Rufus (who he doesn’t like as stated in the game) comes and checks in him every once in a while, but he’s basically a drunken bank owner and doesn’t really care for Dima.

On days he’s at his lowest he brings his dog with him to class. Everyone wants to pet his dog, but the dog is pretty picky with people touching him. When Dimitri raises his hand in class, the dog copies him and raises his paw. 🥺

Everyone assumes he’s gay, but doesn’t make any inclinations on if he actually is or not. He usually sticks to not talking another himself at all. The college/uni has days where students can bring their pets for an outdoor event and Dima almost doesn’t wanna bring his dog because he stubbornly considers his dog a friend over a “pet”

He's definitely a teacher's pet, no doubt.

Attends a small therapy session through the college every two weeks.

You cannot get him to drink alcohol or smoke pot honestly. Maybe unless a certain professor were there and did it first, he may be convinced.

Felix

Get ready for Sylvix vibes.

Maintains about a 3.1–3.4 GPA. Sometimes ends up being late to class, but only if he is just perpetually exhausted.

Is apart of the debate team. He has to be on it because his excuse is that he has to keep an eye on Dimitri (this kinda goes along with my Lambert/Rodrigue headcanon post)

Is also apart of the baseball team but that's because he likes being active. It helps him with his anger issues. He's probably the best player on the team to be completely honest. Short? Runs fast? Well-balanced and strong? Yes.

oh yeah he has anger issues. People have told him to go to therapy but it only pisses him off. His therapist is basically Sylvain. dhebjbhjbhcjjbh

A good majority of people legitimately cannot tell whether or not Felix is aromantic, asexual, straight, or what the hell he is. Sylvain would say he's sexually attracted to anything metal but that's an inside joke between them.

Felix commutes to college/uni. Actually, he doesn't live too far from Dimtiri.

Owns a black cat, originally out of irony, but he ended up growing to be extremely fond of cats. Especially black cats. It has bright green-yellow eyes and is actually very sweet.

Often finds himself in Sylvain's dorm, sometimes sneaking in his cat since they don't allow pets in the dorms due to other students possibly having allergies. He likes to sometimes bring over Mexican food, guacamole and tortilla chips.

When staying up late to study with Sylvain, he'll put his hair in a messy white girl bun. Sylvain teases him that he needs a starbucks coffee, acrylic nails, and a shit ton of makeup and he'll be as good of a white girl as Dorothea or Hilda.

is very oblivious to Sylvain crushing on him, but also is unaware he likes Sylvain a lot. Also. Yes, they will die together. Totally doesn't click that he likes Sylvain.

Calls Sylvain "Idiot" in the streets, but "Syl" in the sheets DJHDEHVEVHJHVJJVH--no they don't actually bang until they get together.

SLIGHT AZURE MOON SPOILERS

The Blue Lions, trying to figure out what time it is. Pretty fricken sure they use sundials or something because I have never once seen a damn clock in that game. 😂 so let’s assume they use sundials. Probably male Byleth is in this cause yes.

Post-time skip Blue Lions, trying to figure out the god damn time (Dedue isn’t here yet :( )

Byleth: hey does anyone know what time it is? I have to apply this medicine to my wound every few hours. I lost track of time.

Mercedes: when did you last apply it?

Byleth: around noon. Actually who has the sundial?

Annette: ....Haha so you see...

Felix: She lost it.

Ashe: Annette!!

Annette: I’m so sorry!! I set it down by the camp and I think it’s gone! I’m soooo sorry!!

Sylvain: this is why we can’t trust you with anything.

Ingrid: It’s fine. We can just figure out another way, right? No big deal. We’ll also have to take stock in some sundials.

Felix: I give up with you people. I’m going back to my tent.

Sylvain: oh no you don’t. Come on let’s help the professor with the time. It’s important.

Annette: well, it’s super simple! The sun is almost always directly above us at noon! Right?

Mercedes: good thinking, Annie!

Ashe: wait, why not ask Dimitri?

Sylvain: are you kidding? He won’t talk to any of us.

Ingrid: well, we may have to ask him. Professor? Will you possibly ask him? He probably won’t answer you though.

Byleth: Well it can’t hurt.

Dimitri: It’s the beginning of spring. The sun’s position in the sky changes in comparison to other seasons according to time.

Byleth: Oh, I never realized that. How do you know that?

Dimitri: I spent five years on the run from the Adrestian empire, lived in nearly isolation, barely survived, hunted and gathered my own food, barely slept for days on, and you don’t expect I know how to tell the time of day by charting and tracking the positions of the sun and moon?

Byleth: .... yeah, you’ve got a point. Also that’s hot.

Okay but Lambert and Rodrigue had a side relationship in my head and Patricia knew about it but was basically okay with it.

I have a lot of headcanons for it so hear me out. Also includes headcanons for Dimitri and Felix as they were growing up together.

Rodrigue and Lambert have a cabin that they hide away in during every other weekend or so to spend their time together.

When they see each other, they always act as prettygood-natured friends.

While Rodrigue is very loving, affectionate and has a way with words, Lambert is awkward, happy, and a bit of a clown and does better at showing his affections through doing stuff for Rodrigue or getting him stuff. Like he’ll watch Felix and Glenn for him or get him a new lance or something

hey want to try and have sleepovers with their sons but Felix and Dimitri do NOT get along very well so they have to avoid having them in the same room for too long

Lambert loves chocolate and Rodrigue loves vanilla

Lambert LOVES spicy food and Rodrigue loves sweet food, but they both love their meats

Rodrigue’s favorite tea is Apple blend while Lambert’s is probably the Four-Spice Blend. That’s how Felix got his love for spicy stuff--because of Lambert having Felix try spicy food

Dimitri got his love for peaches from Rodrigue having him try peach sorbet

Rodrigue, Glenn and Dimitri get along super well and Felix and Lambert got along very well

Rodrigue was trying to convince Lambert to get same-sex marriages legalized, but Lambert was killed in Duscur before he could present it to the royal counsel.

Lambert likes to make fun of Rodrigue for looking like a woman with his long hair

Lambert asks Felix how to braid hair so he could surprise Rodrigue with briaiding his hair. When he braids Rodrigues hair one day, he also sticks little flowers in the braid.

Lambert has a hard time dealing with things that are really small or fragile because he’s so strong.

When they’re having their personal time together, Rodrigue pretty much always makes the first moves by holding his hand or kissing his cheek.

Lambert gets super shy when showing affection. He loves slow kisses and feeling Rodrigue’s hair

When they have sex for the first time, Rodrigue wants Lambert to top, but Lambert is at a loss for how to top a man cause he’s only been with a woman before lmao. Later on as they have sex more, Lambert becomes more confident though

They both love children, bur Rodrigue is DEFINITELY mom material while Lambert is dad material

Lambert is actually very good at dancing while Rodrigue has nearly no rhythm. he also ends up being a decent singer because he loved singing to Dimitri when he’s a little boy

Rodrigue inquires about Dimitri a lot when he hasn’t seen him for a couple of weeks

Lambert is the one to point out to Rodrigue how close Felix and Sylvain are. Rodrigue pays attention to it because he knows Felix has an issue with expressing himself emotionally and making connections with people.

Felix asks Lambert for training lessons and the two train together for a couple hours a day. Glenn probably gets a little jealous because the king is personally training a child. Those training sessions are a part of why Felix is so skilled today
