adversaryssâ:
Not so strange an assumption to make. Aias had dressed down for this trip to something more modest compared to the regality of his usual uniform; travelling clothes, thick and fit enough for Snezhnayaâs eternal winter, with only the quality of the fabric and the tailoring to his frame serving as hints to his true fortune. A source of intrigue, but none so much as the man drawing steadily closer.
Aias peers at the older gentleman intently, dull eyes flicking up and down his scarred, weathered features with open curiosity. Something about his countenance gives the impression of a warrior of sorts, but one who no longer holds a sword. A retired adventurer, perhaps? Not so uncommon. Aiasâ own father was one, after all.
Still, he doesnât read as a threat, so the Harbinger doesnât get too excited about it just yet and continues on with their chat in his usual easygoing manner.
âMhm, a long time coming, too. If Iâd tarried any longer for a visit, I think my whole family might have come to drag me home, haha~â He laughs sheepishly and rubs the back of his neck. âBut, well, better late than never, right?â
âIndeed, visiting kin is very important as they are the true warmth of Snezhnaya.â A fundamental Fyodor instilled in his people so very long ago and is swelling with pride that it has remained after his long absence.
The young lad before him had quite a story the old god can see on him. Where had the light from his eyes had gone? And beneath the smell of soil and earth was a rather sour stench that perked his old instincts up. From his clothes he looked to be the son of perhaps a lord or regent of a lord.Â
Some snow bunnies emerged from the soft snow to get closer, sniffing at the young ladâs boots and coat. Of course there was no way in hiding the glaring one eye the creature is infamous for. Though Fyodor does doubt legends of him even remained to this day, what with a new archon taking over.
âDonât mind them, theyâre harmless.â
Pulls thick fur tighter around himself.
Too aromantic for this bullshit.
Someone fell asleep in the snow again.
fervidusâ:
â  A fairly busy evening in the tavern, but Diluc figured by working the bar that heâll gain some useful information. Liquor is the beverage of courage, foolishness, and truth. Oneâs true nature revealed and secrets are no long held back. Itâs more dangerous than poisonââas some secrets can lead to anotherâs demise. The reason Diluc made a potent beverage such as Dandelion Wine: it is a useful tool for interrogations.
The young bar owner did not expect an unusual guest to arrive as a customer. Word of mouth that there was a strange, dangerous looking man that entered Mondstadt. His garbs give the notion that he might be an ally of the Fatui. Whether if the rumors are true or false, Diluc take heed to them and will investigate more on his own. What he didnât expect was that same target to walk in willingly without needing to tail him.
Diluc nods to his request before immediately attend to the order. It didnât take long to present the wine in a glass and handing it over to patron. The bartender would then relax with his arms folded against his chest.Â
âHere you are, sir,â Diluc respond. âI take it you made quite the journey to get to Mondstadt. Did you travel all this way just to taste the wine?â
While Diluc doesnât like idle chatter, sometimes it is required to gain information. The young master shall find out: Who this man is? Why he is here? What secrets that he harbors? Certainly, heâll get his answers to determine if he really is a part of the Fatuiââor just a traveler from Snezhnaya. His attention veers towards the staff and the old, tattered clothing. Could this man really be one of them?
Fyodor watched the young lad as he prepared the drink, glancing around to find Barbatos but shockingly the anemo archon was nowhere to be seen. Along the way he had heard how the anemo archon went absent for a long time, perhaps they do needed rest.
Taking the glass of wine, the glass chilled when he touched it. If anyone was suspicious then they would see the âcryoâ vision pinned to his cloak. It was made of glass and obvious a fake but with how weak he was Fyodor didnât have much control over his powers. Swirling the wine a bit before taking a sip. A pleasant sweet wine, he can see why Barbatos favors it.
âYes it has been a long journey, coming from Snezhnaya and all. Though the wine is delectable Iâm here looking for an old friend. They are a bard, green eyes, perhaps twin braids framing a fair face. Have youâve seen them lately?â
Granted this was going off Barbatos keeping their form since the last time he saw them.
At Fyodorâs feet some of the snow bunnies that hid in his coat peeked out, not venturing far from the barstool.

âOh guess I fell asleep again.â
Is in the palace because everyone thinks heâs this Pierro fella with a different look. Someone get him out of here.
Fyodor @ Pierro âSo I see you copied my eyepatch.â

Drawn in by the scent of rabbits, the old hound observed the other from afar at first, his duty simply to watch, to make certain this strange figure of power wasnât posing any sort of threat to the Tsaritsa or to the land itself. However, the more he watched, the less threatening the other was becoming.
In some way, Astre felt an odd connection to the figure, which only provoked him to act sooner, to sate his curiosity, and discover who this stranger was.
The old hound moved to approach first, ears swiveling forward, blue eyes locked on his âtargetâ, a small huff escaping his muzzle.
Fyodor sensed the other, the rabbits all buried themselves into the snow or hid in his cloak when noticing the large wolf. Fyodor didnât show any concern, holding out his hand towards the other.
âI mean you no harm, Iâm simply just passing through, you have my word as an old one of these lands.â
Though he had been away for so long home was still these frigid lands.
Not to say Fyodor never had desire, but they were just fleeting moments and hook ups. Heâs sentient ice first and then âhuman lookingâ second. So his overall sex drive is pretty nonexistent. Very much on the asexual spectrum and aromantic when it comes to sex.

Her halved gaze was narrowed slightly in suspicion, the local fauna seeming on edge - his presence wasâŚstrange; oddly quiet, coldâŚalmost familiar in a way - it was impossible, after all.
She never forgot a face.
ââŚIâll request you refrain from the use of pet names where Iâm concerned, if itâs all the same to you.â her tone was flat, arms folding over her chest as she made a mental note to avoid the area going forwards, âAre you lost?â
âSorry, its a habit.â
Always called the young men lads and the young ladies lamb, being around mainly children when he visited towns made him pick it up. âIâm not lost, just wandering around is all. Been awhile since I set foot in this area.â Nothing had drastically changed, the land was still the same after all these centuries.

Sora looked a tad uncomfortable at the mention of this, drawing her tail a little closer to her body. She loved her mother dearly, of course, but it was hard for her to understand why she did some of the things she did. All the fighting had never sat well with her, and she didnât agree with many of the Fatuiâs methods.
âSheâs very kind, even if some people canât see it. She just.. has other things on her mind right now.â And though Sora hadnât been around to see it, the events of the past 500 years were the main reason for her motherâs shift in attitude.
âUhmâ where did you hear that, anyways? A-about her adopting me..?â
âThe rabbits.â
Morax has his mighty adepti, this new cryo archon her army of Fatui and well Fyodor had his rabbits. It was easy to get information as their ears hear everything, and they blend into the snow and ice. Already the people of Snezhnaya who grew up with old tales about him were noticing the return of the rabbits.
âI canât imagine what exactly happened, to someone like me I woke up to the leylines in disorder, a foul stench from cracks in the forest and creatures that can siphon energy away. It must had been enough to shake the Seven.â
