"Zayne, look! Our train has arrived."you grabbed his hand and ran towards the station. It started pouring not so long ago and your clothes were already soaked, hair damp from heavy rain.

You boarded the train,bought your tickets and took the first available seats. The warmth of the train enveloped you. "I'm glad we made it on time. You'd catch a cold if we stayed in the rain any longer."he said and brush a strand of hair away from your forehead. "Here."he took off his coat and covered you with it. " Zayne, this way you will end up with a cold."you shook your head. "I am resistant to these types of circumstances, don't worry."you chuckled, keeping the coat because he wouldn't take it back anyway. You sat comfortably in the soft seat and the train set off.

You were still a few hours away from home,raindrops were running down the window when you decided to occupy the time somehow. Zayne's attention was caught by the latest article about the heart diseases, so you took your headphones out of your bag and turned on one of those ASMR videos to help you fall asleep. And it actually did. Less than half an hour had passed and you were asleep, wrapped in his coat.

The train stopped suddenly at the nearest station which in result made you flinch. You rolled over and your head landed on Zayne's shoulder. His whole body stiffened at the sudden, physical contact. He turned his gaze on you,still sleeping, hair disheveled. He smiled because for him you were still the most beautiful persn in the world. He got back to reading and didn't even dare to move an inch. He will tease you about your neck pain later, even if deep down he wish he could take the pain away from you. But now, he wants to soak in this moment forever.

Note: I wanted to write all three stories but I got a migraine and only managed to write these two :( the last one will be posted tomorrow. I'm sorry but I didn't want to rush it because I really want to do it well

When Zayne texted you that he would be late today, you thought it was the perfect opportunity to prepare something delicious for him. You put on your shoes and headed to the local grocery shop to buy all the necessary ingredients.

Once you got home, you put on your apron,your favourite playlist was playing in the background when you were bustling around the kitchen. You combined dry ingredients with the wet ones and added some chocolate chips to your batter. After mixing everything together you carefully poured it into the cupcake liners. While they were baking, you decided to make the chocolate icing to decorate your sweet treat.

When the cupcakes were ready you put on gloves and took the hot tray out of the oven. It turned out that they even looked better than you thought. Proud of yourself, you set them aside to cool down and then started decorating with chocolate cream and the rest of the chocolate chips that were left.

The clock showed 10pm and Zayne still wasn't at home. You felt exhaustion creeping over you. After cleaning everything up, you took your favorite blanket and turned on the TV to keep you awake. You really wanted to see Zayne considering he's been coming home so late recently and you barely see each other. You closed your eyes once, twice. "Don't fall asleep"but you did anyway.

By this time, Zayne had managed to get home. He stepped inside and sweet aroma filled his nostrils immediately. He put on his slippers and made his way to the kitchen where he found out the neatly decorated cupcakes, placed on the plate. He felt something warm spread through his chest. He thought how much time you must have spent doing all this. He smiled to himself and wanted to thank you immediately. When he entered the living room he saw you curled up on the sofa, your whole body covered in your favourite blanket and your cat clung to you. His gaze softened when he looked at you in such a state.He approached quietly so as not to wake you up and leaned down to kiss your forehead. "Thank you, my love."

"Are you ready, love?"Zayne called out from the bedroom.

"Almost. I'll just do my hair real quick!"you responded. Today was the day you were supposed to meet Zayne's friends. Of course you wanted to make the best first impression. You don't remember the last time you took this long in the bathroom. Although the very thought of meeting was making you nervous. Zayne was the best cardiac surgeon in Linkon City and his friends.... They were all doctors. You on the other hand, worked in a normal job and didn't earn much either. You also didn't consider yourself a someone worthy of attention. Sometimes you wondered how Zayne could look at someone like you.

You got lost in thought until familiar voice pulled you out of them. "You look beautiful."he said and kissed your forehead. "You think so?"

"I do."he took your hand in his and left the apartment.

The road passed in silence, you were looking out the window and wondering how the meeting would go. Zayne noticed something was wrong but didn't want to push it. He hoped you'd tell him when you were ready. Within minutes,you finally reached the final destination. It was an elegant restaurant, the kind you usually see in movies. Zayne opened the door for you and you both were guided to the table where his friends were already sitting. You immediately felt that you were not welcome here. One of the women looked at you with judgment, which in itself made you question your entire outfit. The conversations were mainly about things you had no idea about-complicated medical cases. They used terms you weren't sure you could pronounce right. Suddenly, one of the women changed the topic. "So, y/n Zayne talked a lot about you. He also mentioned where you work. Be honest, it must be hard to live on such a low salary,right?"the rest of the friends giggled. You felt like you just got slapped on the face."I'm sorry, I need to go to the bathroom."you left the table,your eyes got watery.

You locked yourself in the cabin and started crying. You felt like your chest burned and you couldn't take a breath. They're right,you thought. You always knew that Zayne deserved someone better,someone on his level. And for sure it wasn't you. Painful sobs filled the bathroom until someone knocked on the door. "Darling, are you here?"his voice soft. "They left. I told them not to contact me anymore. Not when they insult my significant other. Open the door, please." And you did, your eyes were puffy and red which made Zayne's heart ache even more. He pulled you into embrace immediately. "I don't know what I'm doing wrong Zayne, I tried. Real-"your voice broke mid-sentence." It's okay. You did nothing wrong."he stroked your hair. "Listen. I'm the one who is lucky. You have a kind heart and always help people when they need it. You're hard-working and smarter than you think. I wish you could see yourself through my eyes." You looked at him and he cupped your cheek. "Never question your self worth."he kissed you deeply,sweet.

"I love you, Zayne."

"I love you too, y/n. Let's get home. We can have a movie night if you want."he said and wiped the tears from your face.
