you realize people can get back together? it doesn’t specify whether or not it’s in a flashback. it’d make more sense if it wasn’t, just because adam said “don’t expect me to be there when you get back” he doesn’t still love him and care for him? he was heartbroken when shiro left and hearing he was dead probably caused him so much hurt. when he hears he’s alive you think he’s just not gonna care? in the trailer shiro is seen looking sad and thinking. it cuts to him thinking about the one he loves, adam. he misses him and still loves him. no words are needed to know that. when they see each other again, it only makes sense to have an “emotionally charged scene between two men who love each other”. doesn’t make sense to say they had a super passionate moment during the flashback, adam and shiro were both so upset. sure they probably kissed and hugged, but there was probably so much hurt in it too, more than there would be in any reunion. not trying to argue just trying to inform!
