A completer set for the Victorian Nurse dresses that @nniesims made. They're for: • Maxis-size TF, AF, EF • Lifa’s trans TM, AM-EM • Melodie9 fat TF, AF, EF • Momma Lisa AF-EF • Trans Momma Lisa AM-EM

Polycount: 2,305.

Categorized as everyday. The recolors can be either standalone or repo'd to AF, so @nniesims's AF recolors are included for convenience. The non-Maxis body shapes are BSOK'd.

The meshes are the exact meshes that I used for this set based on @whattheskell 's Long Apron Dresses (go there for mesh previews and info).

Wonderful things are happening at the Historical Sims Discord, and you should join us there!

My contribution to The Society Papers monthly theme! This set features Kativip’s Memory Series Hospital and Laboratory objects edited to be made functional, rescaled, and/or into clutter.

Bed - The mesh has been edited to remove the stuffed animal at the foot of the bed and the texture has been cleaned up for a less worn look. Bedpan - A functional bedpan cloned from Sunni’s chamber pot with a deco version. Both have been rescaled to a better proportion and a lovely re-texture by Cupcakeyy has been included. Chair - The decorative chairs have been rescaled, and a functional version made. Crutches - Base texture on the mesh has been edited to remove the black part at the bottom, with a smaller crutch created to fit child sims. Additional recolors can be found here.

Instruments - Clutter created from the main mesh with everything repositoried to the tray that’s full of instruments. Pail - Rescaled and recolored to include a water texture. Painting - Base object texture replaced and Science enthusiasm added when the Sim views the painting with the FreeTime expansion pack. Radiator - Made functional using Raynuss’s Home Comforts radiator object and edited to stay viewable with walls down. Sims will “Warm Up” if their temperature is too low. Coat Rack - The mesh has been edited to remove clutter and made functional for the Seasons expansion pack. Microscope - Made functional using Fractured Moonlight’s microscopes and sims will gain both Logic skill and Science enthusiasm with it.

Everything has been labelled, compressed, repositoried where possible, and resorted into various Buy Mode categories depending on the type/function of the object. A collection file has been included for convenience. Some objects will overwrite the originals. A huge thank you to Kativip, Raynuss, Sunni, Fractured Moonlight, and Fire_flower for their work/assistance with making this set possible!  DOWNLOAD

@nniesims made the most beautiful toddler dresses the other day (which you should check out if you have not already!) on a mesh converted by @keoni-chan. Annie, goddess that she is, shared the PSD with me because of course I need them in yeti colours?? I added a tiny petticoat texture to the bottom and tights by Dicreasy and I think they’re quite cute!

Victorian Nurses

I added some sleeve protectors to Skell’s Long Apron Dress, and decided to add some stained textures too. I have to say I love the possibility of switching between the clean and dirty texture, especially for screenshots. 

However I do realize we all have different comfort levels with medical stuff, so I added a more cartoonish maxis match variant as well. I hope you enjoy!

You already know me, but my favoruite thing to learn about is the weird way Victorians killed themselves in the home, with self-heating baths, green wallpaper, and exploding toilets :D

They were certainly inventive! I actually added some of these as hazards in my upcoming gameplay ruleset. I figured it’d be fun to make a health roll for any silly sim who happened to have a fondness for arsenic green, plus it seemed like a great way to penalize using aspiration rewards (I figured I could count them as radioactive, muahaha!)

Keoni made a conversion of this lovely apron dress from sims 4, and once we saw it on the victorian sims discord we just knew it would make a lovely victorian outfit. 

So I did some retexturing, and this is what I ended up with! Pretty patterns and a healthy helping of lace. It’s sorted as everyday. I hope to make some more variants of this dress, so keep an eye out.

The Sims 2 Icon Set

Well, i wanted to organize my cc folder - again - but this time i wanted to use maxis icons. I couldnt find the exact icons i wanted so i just extracted them myself. Some of them are not as good as the others. I can fix them and update the set later on.

Note: I really dont know if using custom icons affects the loading time. I didnt experienced anything like that but just for you to know.
