A rest day isn't enough. I need one billion years alone in a crystal.
reblog to give your headache to elon musk instead
I’d just like to point out the growth in this post has mostly coincided with elon’s public spiral downward and I’d like to think we’re all a small part of that
bro can’t think because he’s just got a rager of a migraine 24/7
yes I would like to give elon musk my menstrual pain. I think he deserves it
Reblog to also give Elon Musk your menstrual pain.
i've got some chronic pain he can have. hope he enjoys his fucked up knee
If you don’t let go of your prejudices and past grudges, your heart won’t blossom. 2013 is coming, let’s make a change. We only have one planet so let’s show each other some kindness.

when i was a kid i got a 90% on my kindergarten "what are your favorite things?" test because for the question "what is your favorite animal?" i wrote down "puma" and it got marked wrong because my teacher said a puma isnt even an animal its a kind of shoe
when i was in third grade we were studying fractions on the floor and i went up to solve a fraction at the board and after i solved it my teacher was like "HOW COULD YOU EVER DO THAT. GO SIT AT YOUR DESK." and i was like. what did i do. i didnt do anything. and she was like "YOU KNOW WHAT YOU DID." so i had to go sit at my desk with my head down for an hour straight because she made me stay in for recess too. i asked her what she thought i did the next day and she was like what? i dont remember making you do that
in my senior year government class my history teacher was asking on what basis is the united states government legally allowed to discriminate. and i raised my hand and said the united states government discriminates in law based on sex. and my teacher laughed and he said "isnt that such a classic teenage boy thing. always thinking about sex." and then he was like "the united states government discriminates based on gender." the textbook we were reading from used the term sex.
this thread has been "times teachers thought they were smarter than me but they were stupid and pissed me off" thank you
i just think, realistically, Jeff being told in 114 Interpretive Dance that he's the second hottest student should have driven him up a wall. he should have left no stone unturned in his quest to find number one. and it shouldve been Rich.
I need this one to break containtment as much as possible. Do you like potatoes?

“THEY’RE GONNA START FILMING THE COMMUNITY MOVIE THIS YEAR!!! THEY WILLLL” i say as they drag me into a padded room
i can't be the only one who's just straight-up ... bored with women hating themselves. my mom keeps lamenting to me how upset she is about her gray hair. my friend stares at her laugh lines every day in agony. my sister loses sleep over the horrible unbearable thought of looking fat. and every time these women i love open up to me, i can't help but think ... then stop staring at yourself? stop drowning yourself, narcissus, and just fucking live your life instead of sitting in front of a mirror obeying cosmetic corporations' lies. just stop it. this is getting ridiculous. you're too smart to be falling for this bullshit. "oh no but these men who hate women told me that if i'm ugly i'm worthless!" girl if you actually believe that then good luck. but i am getting worse at being supportive of people whose nonsense worldviews keep them trapped in pain. stop looking at yourself start fucking living i am pleading you deserve to be happy and it is stupid that you disagree

Why Straight Rural Men Have Gay 'Bud-Sex' With Each Other
Honestly, there's something interesting here about the way that sexual identity often really is localized in gender and the way that gender itself can be referenced and strengthened as a function of the way that individual people interact with sexuality. I'm reminded of a discussion in Gay New York about the bygone concept of 'trade', in which men who have sex with 'fairies' (who could run the gamut of personal gender identities from what we might call a 'camp' gay man today all the way to what we would call a straightforwardly trans woman) still nevertheless did not consider themselves any different from men who only had sexual liasions with women.
Or for that matter, I can think of Catullus 16, in which a Roman poet responded to two men attacking masculinity for spending too much time talking about his feelings for his (female) lover by announcing that he is all man: I'll fuck you both in the ass and face!
The thing about whether these MSM are "really" gay or straight is, I think, worth a discussion about the power dynamics that incentivize and shape identity, to be sure. But I also think it's worth talking openly about models of sexuality that don't necessarily resolve around the medicalization to attraction-directed sexual orientation model that currently occupies the place of hegemony in our culture. There is a real tendency to assert that this model is somehow "realer" than other ways of understanding sexuality and gender, and I think that can blind us to the reality that this is still a culturally constructed model of sexuality, not a neutral description of objective reality. People are messy. Sex is messy! And so is gender. We currently construct and understand these things in a very particular shape, but that doesn't mean that that shape is the only one that has ever existed or could possibly exist.
